I had an appt. set up that I couldn’t make an made an attempt to cancel prior. The day of I received a text asking if we were still meeting today. I texted back saying I thought I had canceled but could not meet that day. I received 2 texts back that were not professional, the 2nd text stating I should be more responsible. I waited 2 days and called the guy back (Rick) and discussed the situation. I did ask him if that was an appropriate response he provided and he said probably not. I then hung up. I received more texts back that were not professional so I called again to talk to him. He states he never received a cancellation from me but I did make an attempt at the number I thought was his. I’m not sure what happened and I asked him if he was so desperate for work that he treats all cancellations like this. Rick was really only interested in letting me know how irresponsible I am. That’s his end game. That’s the message he wanted to hammer home to me. He said he wasn’t on his way when he called the day of to confirm so I’m not sure what his issues are but he really likes to play the irresponsible customer angle. I would avoid this business at all costs, you never know what kind of text/call, etc. you will receive, unless you prefer to deal with junior high school behavior. With this type of mindset, you probably don’t want him in your home either.

It was the best experience we have ever had with a contractor

Rick, from Cabinet Refacing by Design, was a pleasure to have working in our home. He was cordial, meticulous, and very dedicated to the job. He cleaned the work space daily and I greatly appreciated that. He provided suggestions when I needed assistance with my design. My husband and I were totally pleased with the completed kitchen upgrade. It exceeded our expectations. I would definitely recommend Rick to anyone who wants a professional job done!

Rick was awesome. He worked with diligence and professionalism until the job was done. It was neat, clean and courteous, very professional, and exacting.

The refacing quote was fairly priced and we are very happy with the quality. Rick runs the whole show and does everything himself. There is no middleman, sales person, or any other people you need to talk to during the job. Rick was professional, and very detail oriented - which is a must for cabinets. He took the time to do everything right, and it turned out amazing. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cabinet Refacing by Design to anyone.

Very smooth. He came on a Tuesday and left on Friday. He is an excellent craftsman. Very honest. You can leave this man alone and he will do the work. Cleaned up the mess everyday, as my cabinets needed sanding to prep for the lamination.. He has a really good eye for details. Everything was square, plummed?, and precise. I opted to have only my damaged drawers replaced to keep down the cost. But the drawers that he replaced worked so well, I was wishing I would have had them all replaced. The kitchen looks completely different. Just like a new kitchen. I could not be happier. So nice to work with this man. He has a great work ethic.

Rick,Cabinet Re Facing By Design, was professional in his presentations, took time to answer all the questions, explain pros/cons of different products as per our requirement and gave competitive price. We specially appreciate that all the work was done by himself and work was completed when he said would start and finish. He did outstanding job and very highly recommend.

They did excellent work! The owner was very personable and easy to talk to, he kept me informed every step of the way. The clean up was daily and they had gotten everything done within their estimated time frame. After 3 months I am still pleased!
