very professional.  knew what the problem was and fixed quickly and went the extra mile and cleaned everything very well.  definitely recommend!

It went very well with all the necessary work being done in a very professional manner. The cleaning of the discharge vent was more time consuming due to the difficulty of access to the ductwork. Mike Berkley was able to get into the very tight space in which the vent had been originally installed and continued to work  in this area until he was satisfied that it was completely clean. The repair of the dryer was relatively simple in comparison, although it also required a thorough cleaning to remove clumped lint from the area below the dryer drum.

My refrigerator was tripping the GCFI switch at night and when would I would reset the switch the next morning the refrigerator would restart with no problems.  Mike determined it was a problem was with the defrost cycle.  He corrected the problem and I have had no problem since the repair.  He did an excellent job and explained exactly what he was doing and why.  Will definitely call him if I need another of our appliances repaired.

Unfortunately he needed the light code display information from the
control panel and he did not have that.  He went into a appliance store
and copied the code instructions and came back.  He still could not
figure out the issue, so he did not charge us.  Great Service!

WE DON'T KNOW WHAT ACTUALLY CAUSED THE CHATTERING WHEN DISPENSING THE WATER THAT WAS OCCURRING TO STOP, BUT THE PROBLEM WAS SOLVED. HE CERTAINLY SEEMED KNOWLEDGEABLE WHEN DIAGNOSING AND WE'RE SATISFIED WITH ALL THAT HE DID.

They have wonderful service. He is professional, fair, on time and he knows what he is talking about. We have had him for multiple issues.

Called on a Friday late AM/early PM and had a return call within a few short hours.  An appointment was made for immediately following Monday.  It was a lid switch that was broken (its a 10+ year old top load washer - this was not a surprise). We were offered 2 options: replace the switch or bypass it.  We were also advised of the cost of our options.  Berkely appliance is friendly, timely, efficient and friendly.  You're definitely not taken for a ride with this company.

I am so impressed with this company.  I was able to schedule an appointment within a day for them to come out and fix my mother's dishwasher and washing machine.  The dishwasher wasn't turning on, and the washing machine had pooled water and stopped working.  The dishwasher was a simple repair, but the handyman who came out ended up having to work hard to try and right a broken piece of the washing machine (I can't remember what it was called).  He came out two days in a row and said he "didn't want the [part] to get the best" of him, but no matter how he hammered he couldn't get it repaired.  We had previously been told over the phone that this piece was unfixable, so kudos to this company for trying.  Their rates were much more reasonable than anyone else we called, and they ended up only charging us for the dishwasher repair and part.  I live on the north side, and certainly wish Berkley Appliance traveled to my area because they were top notch and went above and beyond to help my elderly mother, and I really appreciate that.

Mike arrived on schedule and was polite and very professional.  I explained the problem I was having with the washer.  It took him only a few minutes to discover the broken part and to get the washer working again.  The washer is 16 years old, and Mike explained that the plastic material was starting to get brittle from age and that's why the piece in the timer had broken.  I would definately use Berkley Appliance again and recommend them highly to my neighbors and friends.

The owner of the company came to my home and serviced my refrigerator.  He was done quickly and efficiently and was able to replace the part that I needed very quickly.  He also gave me some advice on my other refrigerator.  He told me that if I ever needed any of my other appliances serviced that he can service all appliances.

Everything went very well.  Mike was a litle late but he worked very hard once he got there and did not stop until the job was done.  He went out of his way to make sure I knew what he was doing and more importantly why he was doing it.  He was very flexible with my travel schedule and accommodating when it came to arranging our appointment.  I will definitely use him again for any appliance repair or installation that comes up in the future.

Mike was excellent to work with. He explained everything he did so we could understand it. He was punctual and polite and the oven worked fine after he replaced the needed part. The refrigerator leak is also fixed. We recommend the company and would use them again.
