We have worked with several contractors in our 40 years of home ownership and never have we had such an easy and rewarding experience. John and his crew are professional and handle all aspects of each stage of the process. John is frequently on site, dealing with our ever-changing vision of what we originally said we wanted and need, and incorporating our ideas into the perfect addition. His attention to detail assured that our addition, from design to construction, fits in with the neighborhood and house. We have also used several of John's subcontractors for additional small jobs throughout our house and have always been happy with the work. + -1 moreVery smoothly. We have an 80 year old house with a finished basement. Ground water came up through drain and ruined the wood floor. After removal of the wood, we found a VERY uneven basement floor. The trim was removed, the floor leveled and then stained.(very cool) Decided to then enlarge my husbands wine celler(build out from existing walls) and add some electricity. Our basement looks amazing!!!!
Description of Work: When groundwater infiltration in our basement ruined our Pergo floor, we turned to this company for ideas and solutions. Molitor & Sons suggested a few options and we decided on leveling the basement floor with concrete and staining it to give it an updated look. We also had the wine cellar expanded , which involved moving walls, removing drywall from our stone foundation and adding power outlets. We found Molitor and Sons to be very professional and excellent communicators. You want someone who will not only speak to you but listen to you, too, and they did that. The project came in as bid, the work was of high quality and the work area was cleaned up well at the end of each workday. Except for each day’s progress, you would never have known they had been there. Highly recommended.
