I had already bought the items that I wanted replaced to save time so that I could also take more time finding the items I wanted replaced. Tony gave me a price, and I told him Ok, when can you start? He said he could start in a couple days, and he told me when he would arrive to do the work. He was on time and started the work. He had another worker with him and they did a remarkable amount of work quickly. I even asked him to do some other things that I didn't mention in the initial talk, like installing GFCI receptacles in my kitchen and in the bathroom, which he was remodeling. I also told him to check for a partial blockage of the toilet in the bathroom he was remodeling. He said no problem and did the work. He didn't find anything blocking the drain when he removed the toilet, but said he would try to find out if anything was stuck in the drain. He mentioned that the toilet could be clogged where it couldn't be reached and it might be safer to just replace the toilet. Since the toilet was very old, I went out and bought a new toilet so he could replace it. I also mentioned that the faucet in the bathtub in the master bathroom would leak at times, and he found the problem and corrected it. I also mentioned to him that I had a leak in the family room bathroom on the lower level where the sink had a clogged drain, and he found out that the toilet was causing the problem. Since I don't use that toilet , I had him shut off the water inlet valve to the toilet and that stopped the leak.
They cleaned up all areas where the work was being done and disposed of the replaced items before leaving each day. They I would definitely have this company do more work for me. He says in his advertising "No job too small" and he means it!
TM Construction did incorrectly or did not do at all! We do have pictures and we would have posted them if it were possible on this website. We contacted Tony twice and he will not not respond to our emails. We thought we could trust Tony but make no mistake about it, YOU CANNOT TRUST THIS MAN! PROTECT YOURSELF AND DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT hire this so called "contractor"!
"This Owner did not mention that we could not vent her exhaust fan out the roof because her garage was a complete mess and we could not enter the attic. The Owner contacted Our company 4 years after the bathroom was completed and stated that she was getting mice in her home for the past year and is it possible that it could be from something we had done. I said it was unlikely because we had not been there for 4 years. Our Company has done many jobs for this person as well as for their family members for many years and they have always been very happy with Our work. This person tried to give us a bad review with the BBB and after further investigation they found her claims to be false. I wish she would have contacted me by phone which she has always done and we would have gladly solved her concerns even though Our contract did not state we would be venting her exhaust fan out the roof. The issues with her water heater was pipe bubbling because her home had 1/2" copper piping rather than the standard 3/4" piping and again never heard any complaints from her for 4 years after the work was completed. We have remodeled tens of thousands of bathrooms in the Chicago land area and NO COMPLAINTS, please check Our reviews and you will only find this complaint. What does that tell you.........SAID!!!!"
