It was very good. The sales people are accommodating and will ask you if you need help. They will direct you the right places to get the right things. They are knowledgeable and it is rare to find somebody there who doesn't know what they are talking about. You can easily get lower price products. They have a variety of products with different prices.

In general it was a terrible experience. There were two good parts. First the quality of the kitchen cabinets is excellent. Secondly the Home Depot kitchen designer did a good job meeting most of our requests in designing the new cabinets.
Home Depot stated that would provide a turnkey project and that they were going to manage the kitchen remodel project from start to finish. In retrospect the first red flag that went up was that Home Depot demanded 100% for material and installation up front before any work started or cabinets were ordered. When my wife and I asked why Home Depot stated that this was their policy and that they would make sure that we were 100% satisfied.
You can probably guess what happenedr right after we paid 100%. Shortly after our calls were not returned. Could not get a delivery date on the cabinets. The Home Depot contractor had 6 weeks to get the building permits. He waited until the cabinets were delivered to our garage and then he started to apply for the permits. Lost a week before the project even started.
Wanted to charge us extra to change the sink drain plumbing for a sink that Home Depot was providing. Had to fight this one. The electrician Home Depot used did follow the Bartlett electrical code! Failed first inspection. I had to print out and post the electrical code on the kitchen wall for the electrician!!
I ended up taking the role as project manager. Home Depot's project manager always let the contract do what and when he wanted. Due to very poor planning and lack of concern for the customer. a promised 5 week project ended up to take 8 weeks!!
I had to dog the contractors every day or the project would have taken even longer.
I copied the store manager and district manager on my emails but they were not concerned about my project in the least.
Once Home Depot got our money all their promises vanished! They allowed their contractor to do whatever and whenever he wanted.
Never, ever again would I use a Home Depot contractor or have Home Depot do a turnkey installation.
