bathtub faucets When the finish first started peeling I called them. They told me that the bathtub faucet had a miniscule leak that caused the finish to crack and peel. If this leak was the problem, why didn't the first technician notice it? I had a plumber come and tighten up the faucets. He told me that the finish should not have peeled because the slight drip from he faucet. Finishing touch came out again and repaired the peeling finish and told me that since my bathtub was old, the faucet might tend to drip. I've been covering the faucet with a plastic glove ever since and now the finish is peeling again. I called Finishing Touch and left a voicemail message for Michele who has not returned my call.
