Although CES is a bit out of the way for me, the owner seemed really nice over the phone, so I went to CES. He was very nice and allowed me to borrow whatever catalogs and finish samples I wanted and answered any questions I sent to him via email promptly. Anyone I dealt with at CES was also very nice. I was provided with competitive prices on the items I wanted to purchase, so I placed my order with him. All of the items arrived quickly and were delivered quickly to my house. Once my husband went to install the lights, one light had an issue; CES immediately ordered another light fixture and swapped it out at my house very quickly. The reason I wound up at CES is that I had been very dissatisfied with the salespeople?s attitude at the most convenient lighting store to me in Schaumburg on two separate occasions, so I started calling around to other lighting stores and found CES. Keep in mind, they do not have a product showroom, and are open only during normal 8-5 business hours during the week. Also, when I paid the final balance on the last fixture they delivered, I was informed that they no longer take credit cards so I paid by check. Additionally, the sales tax in Bartlett is lower than lighting stores in Cook County.
