Clean Air Sciences, Inc.
About us
We specialize in discovering the unknown cause of health problems, allergies, and other symptoms related to indoor air quality. We provide "answers to your indoor air quality and environmental problems" in layman's terms to the very technical so that everyone from residential homeowners, commercial and industry professionals, and legal counsel can understand. Our scientist is the only person in Illinois with both ACAC credentials of Certified Indoor Environmental Consultant (CIEC) and Certified Environmental Thermography Consultant (CETC). We provide individual attention to each client from the initial phone call to report delivery with a scientist working on your project every step of the way. Project costs are billed as time involvement and sample cost or air monitoring equipment costs. We frequently offer discounts for infrared thermal imaging when utilized with a mold sampling investigation. We do not have any financing available.

"Thank you Mrs. [Member Name Removed] for taking the time to explain your two projects. We strive for excellence and hold mold remediation companies to a very high standard to protect our clients and ensure they are getting the quality of work they are paying for to remove all the mold. Clean Air Sciences, Inc. refers and is referred by several mold remediation companies, but just because there is a 14+ year span of working on projects together doesn't mean that they will not be held to the high standards for post-remediation assessment sampling which may include having to go back and redo a spot that was missed or not done well-enough to remove all the mold growth. Laboratory samples tell whether any mold growth remains. It was a pleasure working for Mrs. [Member Name Removed] and I hope all of our clients are as satisfied with the performance of our company. Our role is to plan the details of the mold remediation with a protocol and removal scope of work. Once the initial remediation is completed, Clean Air Sciences, Inc. samples representative areas of wooden materials to ensure no mold growth remains as part of a QA/QC process. Many companies that don't work with a mold consultant or hygienist try to do their own initial "testing" or just say yeah that's mold without sampling before they "remediate". That is a conflict of interest and Don Paxton's (Clean Air Sciences, Inc.'s environmental scientist) certifications through the American Council for Accredited Certification (ACAC) require that investigation and remediation are not done by the same company. This is a very important step to ensure that the "one-stop-shop" remediation companies do not try to scam customers, and I highly advise everyone to really do their homework and ask a lot of questions before they hire any mold remediation company, and don't take the risk of not hiring a mold consultant/investigator. Also, often having an experienced investigator to set the scope and boundaries of a remediation can save thousands of ($) dollars, especially if only half an attic or crawlspace needs to be remediated. Many unscrupulous remediators may just say it all needs to be done without applying any scientific basis or having any mold samples to back up their claim. So, very often that savings pays for the mold consultant's sampling on top of possible thousands of savings in remediation costs. Mrs. [Member Name Removed] is one of several clients who have called on us again for family, friends, or a new event in their own home. We are here for them if they ever need our trusted services again in the future."
