The service was good.  They arrived on time and they left the area clean. They do a good job overall.

They were prompt and professional...worked around our schedule too!

When my washer stopped working, I took out the electrical plug, and reinserted it into the socket. This caused a huge spark. I found Ventura in Angie's list as an electrician near my home. I talked with them about 7 pm Tuesday. An electrical crew came to my house at 7:30 am Wednesday (after determining I wasn't in any immediate danger). Cost was 1/2 hour of work and home visit fee and cost of replaced materials. The electricians (Steve and helper John) were prompt and professional.

Serviceman responded to our call when some of the electricity in our home went out and we were unable to operate a switch on our circuit-breaker. There was an external wiring problem that required two visits from ComEd, and our serviceman returned the next day to complete his work in the circuit-breaker. We have no complaint with the service or efficiency of the serviceman. We were disappointed, however, to learn that the 10% discount advertised for seniors applied ONLY to the $75.00 service charge, so on our $500. bill, we will receive only a $7.50 discount, instead of the $50.00 we anticipated.

Positives: Dave was clear in his communication about what would happen, and he called back, whereas several other contractors didn't. He actually sent his worker to the house to do an estimate, whereas at least one other company just diagnosed it over the phone. Neutral: They wouldn't work with our insurance company, but insisted on payment at the time the work was completed. That's kind of a negative, except for the fact that they told us about this policy in advance, which at least meant we weren't surprised by it. Negative: They refused to provide an itemized bill (which the insurance company was demanding). The most they would do was to list parts and labor separately - then those two parts didn't even add up to the total. They didn't clean up after themselves. They cut apart an aluminum downspout to get the electrical line through, when they could have just disconnected it at a joint just a few inches away. Then, they didn't even replace the section they cut - we're going to have to call someone else now to get up there and repair that.

I thought I had a circuit problem but all he did was push a button. He was very honest.

BRIAN & JOHN INSTALLED THE 4 LIGHTS AND DID A GREAT JOB. THEY MADE SURE I WAS OKAY WITH THE EXACT LOCATION OF THE LIGHTS BEFORE THEY PROCEEDED.
