ROLLING GREEN TURF CARE

I have used Rolling Green for a number of years. I wouldn't keep using them if they didn't deliver great service. They offer a pre-pay option for returning customers that discount their fees. This is a nice feature. You set up the service you'd like while the snow is still flying and forget about it! Rolling Green shows up and the yard looks fantastic. In the event there is a break through of weeds they respond promptly to take care of it. They do a great job at a reasonable price!

We hired Rolling Green for the 2010 season.  By mid-summer the grass looked great, everything was green, weeds were almost non-existent, but we still had a grub problem.  Pete from Rolling Green visited our house and said that 2010 was an especially challenging year for lawns and we would need to pay for an additional grub treatment (approx $90).  Not ideal, but we agreed and the additional treatment seemed to do the trick. We were a bit bothered by the timing of the applications throughout the year.  Pete explained that they had to combine several treatments, but we always thought the point of fertilizer was to do multiple treatments and space them out every 4-6 weeks. Also, with our initial contract we paid for core aeration.  Come fall Rolling Green came out and did a liquid aeration.  Our understanding is that liquid aeration is an inferior method and is typically used for lawns that have an in-ground sprinkler system that would otherwise be damaged by regular core aeration. Even though we were leary about the service in 2010 we decided to give them a chance again in 2011.  However a contract never arrived in the mail.  After we placed three (3) separate calls to Pete asking for the contract (and his promise to send the contract) we still never received anything.  At this point we assume they don't need our business and have hired someone else from Angie's List for 2011.
