RICHARD HONQUEST FINE FURNISHINGS

I ordered the sheers on 5/14 and they were installed on 8/13. Karen Skibbe was the designer and Cemal was the installer. When they were installed they were too wide for the rods - when closed the sheers should hug the rod. Cemal told me this is they way they make them now. He also did not dress the sheers on this visit (pleating, steaming them and tying them back in an open position). I called Karen and told her I wasn't happy with the way they fit and Cemal picked up the sheers and they were adjusted. On the second visit they still didn't fit correctly and he took them back. He said they might need a softer buckram or a different pleat. After that visit Joyce Parks called me - Joyce is the Custom Products Coordinator, because Cemal went back to her and said I wanted a different buckram and pleat - which wasn't true. I asked that Karen or Joyce also be at my home when Cemal brings the sheers back since I felt he wasn't relaying the correct information back to Honquist. On the next visit the sheers were too small. Joyce said they would order new fabric and remake the sheers. They were delivered the following week, installed and dressed in the open position. On this visit Cemal also had to adjust the sheers on the French doors in my dining room. When he installed the sheers he used new rods but used the same holes. The new sheers were about 1/2 inch longer and he had to move the rods to have the sheers fit taught. I left the living room sheers tied back for five days; however, when I untied them some of the pleats didn't hang right, as you can see from the attached pictures. I called Joyce on 10/29 and left a message. She returned my call on 11/1 and I told her the problems I had with the sheers. She said she would schedule an appointment and call me back with the date. I called her again on 11/9 and left a message since she hadn't scheduled the appointment. I received a letter from her (attached) stating that nothing more would be done. At this point I would like a refund. I've been very patient but I don't think anything can be done with these sheers to make them look like the custom sheers I expected when I ordered them.

Fantastic. Saw their dutch sale sign in the window, went in, found a fantastic deal on a dresser. Was delivered today, right on time.
