The service went very smoothly, besides they never obtained a permit to install it.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal purchase that I made. I think everything is fine. You have no way of really knowing if it's working but the guy that came out was fine and I think they did a good job. Their professionalism was very good.

I was surprised that a company can still get away with charging for quotes, especially considering the job to be performed would presumably run over $2,000. I called to schedule a quote for a thermostat replacement and water softener installation. The courteous and professional lady answering the phone informed me that I would need to pay $60 to get a thermostat quote and $80 to get a water softener quote. Really? Two separate quotes .... even though it would only require one service visit because they specialize in both fields? ... Seriously?

Their customer service is wonderful. They always come out right away. It really surprised me as they come very quickly. They are very nice people. They are safe to be with. They do nice job. Their works are all guaranteed. I would use them in the future.

 

Although the clog was far down the line, it was easy to remove with the right equipment.

They came exactly when they said. He came in and advised that I do not need the tankless water heater. He admitted that my problem was not one he could solve. He then offered to get a list of names form the plumber's guild of reputable people that could help me with what I needed. I was pleasantly surprised at his honesty that I did not need the improvement that would have been over $1000. He was more concerned with helping me than with getting the money from the repair. He didn't even charge me for the inspection call, which took an hour.

Invoice stated COMPLETE TOILET REBUILD which it certainly was NOT. Replacement parts of lower quality than OEM Kohler parts removed. After one week of use, toilet flushing at lower pressure with slower fill rate than before and may have to re-adjust again. Additional quote provided for replacement of a single sink faucet CARTRIDGE SEAL at $300+ which is more than cost of many new faucets. Although prompt and courteous service, the work actually performed was billed at DOUBLE the PRICE. Second quote equally outrageous. Will not call PPI again.

NOTICED THE LEAK FOR THE SECOND DAY IN A ROW. CALLED PROFESSIONAL PLUMBING HEATING & COOLING LLC AND ASKED FOR A PLUMBER. A PLUMBER CALLED BACK WITHIN 20 MINUTES OR SO AND SAID THAT IT WOULD BE $155 FOR AN AFTER-HOURS SERVICE CALL. HE ARRIVED AN HOUR LATER, DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM, AND MADE THE REPAIRS WITHIN 2 HOURS. THE PLUMBER WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS. THE COMPANY'S PRICING WAS BY THE TASK AND NOT BY THE HOUR. IN HIND SIGHT, WE BELIEVE THAT THE PRICING WAS TOO HIGH. THE QUALITY OF THE WORK WAS GOOD, AND THERE IS A 1-YEAR WARRANTY ON THE WORK.

THE SHOWERS WERE COMPLETELY REPAIRED. HE REPLACED THE TOILET, BUT WE STILL HAD A PROBLEM. HE DID RETURN TO WORK ON THE TOILET AT NO CHARGE, BUT THE PROBLEM WAS NOT RESOLVED. WE WERE UNWILLING TO EXECUTE HIS RECOMMENDATION. THE REPAIRMAN WAS PLEASANT AND VERY CAREFUL TO KEEP THE HOUSE CLEAN.

I CALLED FOR SOMEONE TO COME OUT WITH AN ESTIMATE. THEY SAID THEY CHARGE $49 FOR A SERVICE CALL. UNFORTUNATELY, THEY ONLY DO PIPEWORK, NOT WOOD WORK. MY HUSBAND ENDED UP DOING THE JOB HIMSELF OVER A WKND. THIS COMPANY WAS RECOMMENDED TO ME BY THE PLUMBING COUNCIL OF CHICAGOLAND (800-768-2583) AS A QUALITY COMPANY DOING PLUMBING WORK IN MY AREA. I WOULD CALL THEM AGAIN FOR AN ESTIMATE IN THE FUTURE. THEY RESPONDED PROMPTLY BY PHONE.

I CALLED THEM FOR THIS REPAIR. IT WAS NOT AN EMERGENCY, BUT THEY CAME OUT THE SAME DAY. THEY DID A GREAT JOB.

I HAVE HAD PROFESSIONAL PLUMBING DO ALL OF OUR PLUMBING WORK FOR THE LAST 5 YEARS - THEY ARE WONDERFUL - VERY PROFESSIONAL AND THEY REALLY FIX PROBLEMS. I ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD TO BEING ABLE TO REFER OTHER PEOPLE TO THEM BECAUSE I KNOW THEY''LL DO A GREAT JOB.
