Jack is meticulous and professional, accommodating and patient. We first hired Jack to do some small jobs fixing rotting poles around the house and we were so impressed with his work that we decided to hire him for a full kitchen remodeling. And we are glad that we did. He takes incredible pride in his work and makes sure that everyone that he brings in for a job works at the highest of standards. When unexpected things come up during the job, as they always do — For us it was a door that needed replacing, broken air vent, and leaky toilet pipe in the ceiling — His pricing is incredibly fair. We cannot stress enough how incredibly pleased we are with Jack’s work. He is simply fantastic. If you are doing any remodeling or even small jobs, he is the person you want. We should add that the is also amazingly punctual. When he says he will be there at 7 in the morning you can be sure that you’ll find him parked outside at 6:45 waiting in his truck for 7 am. Also, he responds to emails and phone calls almost immediately.

My 25 year old Colonial house needed new windows, so I sourced 4 window contractors from Angie's List, all with great ratings, and got quotes from them, intending to go with the contractor who gave the lowest quote that sounded professional and competent. In the end, Jack didn't give me the absolute lowest quote of the four, but his quote was close to the lowest, and I felt better about how Jack talked about the project than the contractor providing the lowest quote. I'm glad that I went with Jack - I couldn't have been happier with Jack's work. He and his partner performed high quality professional carpentry work and conducted themselves in a very professional manner. When they told me what they were going to do, they did it. They came to the house when they said they would come to the house, and finished the project on time. The windows look terrific, the installation looks terrific, the experience was terrific. Unfortunately (and as I expected), Jack found a lot more rotten wood and rotten siding than he initially expected, resulting in the final tab for the project being a bit more than he initially quoted. I always get worried about this type of add-on work, since I can't really get competitive quotes and so never know whether it is being priced at the same effective rate as the overall project. In this case, I trusted (and he assured me) that he was pricing it reasonably. That being said, the add-on work was performed well, quickly and to a professional standard. Overall, I found Jack to be an honest, reasonable and professional contractor, who performed high quality work. I would use Jack again and would recommend him highly to other Angie's List customers.

Extremely pleased with the work he did on our house. I won't hesitate to hire him again to do more work both inside and outside the house. He has a good eye for the design of things and I felt comfortable leaving the house and not having to supervise as I have had to do with other contractors.
He came out for the estimate on Friday, stating he'd start on Monday and finish Tuesday. One day for demo and one for rebuild. He was punctual, arriving both days exactly on time, which made me very happy. Its frustrating when appointments are broken or people are late.
I feel I've finally found someone who is reliable, honest, friendly and most of all, a master craftsman. I'm looking forward to having him give us more design ideas. The good thing is....his prices are reasonable so we can actually have the work done.....not just get the estimate and stop. I think you'll be happy with his work. I'm picky about how things turn out and I could see that

Jack was the carpentry subcontractor for my recent extensive condo remodel. He was the highlight of the project in terms of quality and professionalism. He was a really-valuable problem-solver whenever an issue arose. And he kept things amazingly clean throughout his portion of the job. I've had lots of renovation work done over the past several years, and Jack is one of the few construction professionals whom I would recommend without reservation. He does great work, is extremely easy to work with, and I trust his judgement implicitly.
