"Although one of the windows was shipped incorrectly twice (slightly mismeasured by the Marvin Window rep) the member changed her mind on the other window after it was installed. She originally gave us a photo of the window she wanted, our designer went with her to the door and window showroom to see the window in person before it was ordered, she approved it, and once it was installed she did not like it, which is really not Insignia's fault. Both windows were custom sizes so there was a 4 week lead time each time we had to re-order. In fact, the other members of her family and friends all told us and her that they thought the first set of windows looked fine and were what they expected. Insignia went above and beyond what would typically be done and perhaps we tried too hard to appease her which wound up hurting us in the end. She was given several options for her cabinets and the benefits and costs of each one were fully explained to her, the cabinets that were installed were the ones she selected herself. The finished kitchen looks beautiful and is much more functional than her original kitchen. Remodeling of any kind is very disruptive to a household and it is common for frustration to set in and sometimes overshadow the end result. In most kitchen remodeling jobs, including this one, the client was without a working kitchen for only a few weeks. Although the window re-order unfortunately extended the completion date of this project, the kitchen was functional and being used for all but a few weeks time. The price for the project was agreed upon before the contract was signed so I am not sure what the issue is with that. If there were any additional costs it was for something that the member decided to add. There were no additional charges to the contract that were initiated by Insignia. Insignia worked through the issues with the member in as timely of fashion as possible and in the end the kitchen looks beautiful."

Insignia has completed hundreds of projects over the last 17 years and the vast majority of them go as planned and exceed the clients expectations. You should judge a company not by the mistakes they occasionally make, which we all do, but how they respond to them. In the end Insignia made it right and this client is happy with their project."
