It went better than I expected. I've heard tales about discount duct cleaning and the added ( and hidden ) costs. Indoor Air was upfront, professional and efficient. No add on costs.

Team arrived on time and were finished in about 1/2 day. The attic mold was neutralized, mechanically removed, and then the attic was sealed to prevent future mold growth.

We called the company on Tuesday night at 5 pm to ask for an immediate estimate. They came out in an hour, gave us an estimate and told us they could use green products as I did not want harmful chemicals in my home. We agreed to price and Carol, had three workers at my house buy 10 am the next morning.. They prepped my house so none of my belongings were damaged, removed damaged drywall and set up 3 dehumidifiers and 2 air scrubbers immediately. The job was done quickly and cleanly, no easy feat since they had to go up and down a ladder in to a hot attic. There was some damage done to ceiling below while they were removing the floor, but Carol was very responsive and sent so done out to repair without any complaint. I think this was just an unavoidable accident because of tight quarters where they were working. I also called her to get a recommendation for someone to clean the drywall dust out of the attic room after the other construction crew left. Carol tried to find someone to help me, but everyone was booked up so she is sending out her own workers to do it at no charge to us even though it was not her responsibility. That is unusual today for someone to help you when they are not obligated and is one of the reasons I would definitely use this company again and highly recommend them to others!

Service personnel were fabulous, prompt, always pleasant, professional, and clean. Relatively quite, cannot believe that such drastic work could be accomplished in such a comfortable (for us) manner. They were a delight.

The service was outstanding

Late one Thursday evening I was watching a movie in my living room. When I got off the couch, I felt the carpet under my feet was soaking wet. I turned on the lights and saw water going all the way through my kitchen and down the hall, out the back door and into the adjacent laundry area. Horrified, I realized that the washing machine pipe had broken. I called my landlord but of course, he didn’t pick up. I knew I had to do something immediately so I went on to Angie’s and found Indoor Air Repair. I called and someone answered immediately; I told them I was hoping someone could come out first thing tomorrow morning. They were on-site within an hour which was impressive considering the late hour. They brought heavy duty air filtration units and moved my furniture and carpeting in order to achieve maximum drying. The technicians also noticed the musty odor in my home, which I had been trying to mask for months. I thought it was coming from the carpets, even though we had steam cleaned them three times to no avail. One of the technicians explained to me that a musty odor is often due to mold, and offered to do an estimate right then. He determined that almost every one of my exterior walls was wet, and found mold behind some of the baseboards in my living room. This all made the busted pipe in the laundry room look minor by comparison. I knew nothing could be done about the mold until I talked to my landlord, but asked Indoor Air Repair to come up with a remediation proposal just in case. Meanwhile, the fans continued to run throughout the night and morning until everything was bone dry. By that time I had talked to my landlord about the pipe, and about the mold. He understood the necessity of having someone come out asap to dry everything, but was hesitant about a full-scale mold remediation. I put him in contact with the owner of IAR, who explained that the remediation was just as necessary as the water damage restoration. They worked it all out and remediation began the next Monday (four days after the busted pipe). The remediation went awesome; the technicians took one day to demo and two to remediate, and I was back at home by the following weekend. All of my stuff had been carefully moved and covered with plastic so that nothing got contaminated. IAR also sealed up every crack and crevice through which water was leaking in. Since having the work done the musty smell is completely gone, and my roommate and I feel noticeably healthier (my roommate had been having allergy symptoms when she was home; we thought it was mysterious but like the smell, did not think it was mold-related). We are actually grateful for the busted laundry room pipe; if not for that I never would have contacted IAR and would still be living in a smelly, moldy, sickness inducing apartment. HUGE thanks to Indoor Air Repair for coming out so promptly, dealing with me freaking out so graciously, and doing everything possible to ensure my home was a dry healthy place to be!

CAROL WAS VERY HELPFUL, INFORMATIVE, AND ACCOMMODATING. WORKERS, BOB AND SOREN, WERE PROFESSIONAL IN PREMEDITATING THE MOLD. THEY ALSO FURTHER EXPLAINED WHAT THEY WERE DOING. THOUGH THE MOLD WAS AN UNFORTUNATE CIRCUMSTANCE FOR US, INDOOR AIR REPAIR DID A GOOD JOB IN FIXING IT AND EDUCATING US AS WELL.
