We had some mold in the attic of a home we were purchasing. Sean came out and knew exactly how to remedy it (when everyone else gave us the run-around). They were on time, efficient, and did exactly what they said they would do. Carol is very pleasant (she's the money/booking person), and Sean was very friendly and professional (he does the in-home work). He had a second guy with him and he was very friendly as well. Yes, we would recommend this company!

I'd called them for mold investigation and removal. This latest (6/19/17) was the 4th time I used them. Other 3 were unrelated to this or each other. On all jobs, I received a call back the same day and technicians arrived shortly thereafter to begin their work. They were very knowledgeable and took more care than I even thought necessary to protect my carpeting, walls and furnishings. They were very clean and removed their own debris. I would recommend them to anyone in need of mold remediation.

Very knowledgeable about mold in attic but didn't test an area that they thought that had mold because we told them to look at different specific area. Seemed like there was a communication breakdown.

Service was great. They went above and beyond. I didn't know if I was going to get anyone good or not, but they were very well prepared, and they really knew their stuff.

We recently inherited a home in the suburbs that we had no intention of moving into. We knew there was some mold in the basement, but decided to sell it “as is” and see what happened. After putting it on the market and receiving numerous comments from buyers about the basement, we decided to get it remediated. I have a busy work schedule and couldn’t meet them at the property for an estimate, so instead they let me email photos, measurements and a drawing of where I thought all the mold was. HUGE timesaver. We asked for a quote to remove the mold and to waterproof the whole basement to make it more attractive to buyers. The quote seemed reasonable so we scheduled work to start within a couple days, when we were planning to already be there to clean out the garage, which was SUPER convenient. The morning the work was scheduled, we realized that the house didn’t have power. I called Indoor Air Repair panicking thinking we’d have to reschedule and they said it actually wasn’t a problem because they could just bring a generator. What a relief! Their guys were really professional and stayed late to get the entire job done including waterproofing in a single day (we were convinced it would take at least two). They found way more mold than we knew was there so they took out more drywall than we expected, but they kept us in the loop the entire time so there were no surprises. They also kept air scrubbers in the basement for an extra couple days to make sure all the mold spores were gone. The basement looks and feels so much better now with all the mold gone. There’s been heavy rain out by the house several times since the work was done and the basement has stayed dry as a bone. These guys were so easy to deal with and they did a great job. If I ever have mold again, I know who to call.

Carol couldn't have been more compassionate and empathetic. We were very stressed about our mold. Very professional and we couldn't have been more happy and stuck with me through this journey.

Worst experience ever with a company. NOT RECOMMENDED!!! They did a poor job. The most important part of the job according to Carol, is the vacuuming. There were two guys at my house. Tim who also estimated the job was the main person. They used the vacuum in 1 spot about 5 SQ Inches (See Flickr photos), when they were suppose to vacuum the entire north side of my attic which was infected with mold. After I found out that they did not vacuum, I took pictures and emailed Carol. She even agreed with me that Tim���s pictures did not look good when she saw them. She said my photos are a lot closer up then Tim���s. I said well I have a better camera and you can see better detail in my photos. Carol continued to argue with me that Tim did in fact vacuum. I said that it is impossible that he vacuumed because I had blown insulation on the surface that had the mold, and it was all still there. Then she went on that I didn���t disclose that I sprayed it once before with Concrobium and that is why they could not vacuum well. But in fact when Tim was doing my quote I mentioned that I sprayed something from Home Depot and it obviously didn���t kill the mold. So then I went up in my attic with my cheap shop-vac to prove to Carol, that it could be vacuumed and took before and after photos of 3 sections that I vacuumed, I had NO PROBLEMS. Carol still could not agree with me. Even with photos. See my photos on FLICKR and you be the judge. You will see in one photo there are cob-webs! If they vacuumed there would not be any cob-webs. I said the guys were at my house 2 hours 10 minutes. Carol told me at the beginning that the job would take around 4 hours. I said if they vacuumed they would have been here longer. She argued that they were at my house longer then what I stated. She basically called me a liar. Too bad I had proof of the time they got to my house and the time they left, via my Cell phone call records. Because they called my cell phone about 10min before they got to my house, then I called them about 10min after they left, because one of the guys left his coat at my house. Carol kept going on defensive tactics, saying that she has been in business for 10 years without a complaint, I responded, well you have your first complaint now. Then she went on that she didn���t think I would be happy if they came back and vacuumed. I said I will be happy if they vacuum as stated in my signed work contract proposal. One Saturday they ���attempted��� to come to my house to vacuum, then said they got to my house and I wasn���t home. Which in fact I was home. I said if they thought I wasn���t home, then why didn���t they call me on my cell phone. They called me when they said they were running about 20minutes late. Total joke of a company. FINALLY after a little over 2 months of arguing back and fourth with Carol, they finally sent a guy named Arthur Ellis. Very good guy and did the job correctly! It took him a little ov

Indoor Air Repair did a great job cleaning the mold off the walls and worked with us to keep the air scrubbing equipment running until the final testing was scheduled. The staff were very knowledgeable on what we needed to have done to remediate the mold issues we had in the basement.

Indoor Air Repair quickly assessed the scope of the project, presented a proposal and started / completed the contracted work in a specific time frame. The staff was helpful, professional and very responsive to any questions and concerns. I highly recommend their services.

Indoor Air Repair (IAR) is highly recommended. My water heater died and flooded a carpeted portion of my basement. I spoke to other Service Magic vendors, but I chose IAR because they gave great customer service from first contact. The owner did a great job of explaining the process. She was patient as I asked question after question and thorough in her answers. While the other companies seemed to just arbitrarily quote prices, IAR gave me breakdown of the pricing (and potential costs) over the phone based on my description of the area. I would definitely recommend Indoor Air Repair.

I am very happy with the whole experience I had with Indoor Air Repair. The estimate was done on a speedy basis and the company was flexible enough to schedule the mold remediation itself for a Saturday. The technicians were knowledgeable, thorough and courteous. Their bid was very competitive and the cost of the project did not exceed that estimate. I had been afraid that the technicians might recommend additional work (at an additional cost) as the job progressed but that didn't happen. I highly recommend Indoor Air Repair for the quality of their mold removal work and for their excellent customer service.
