I had never heard of a $500 car battery but had to pay this to get my car back.  I would have appreciated prior notice if a simple battery was going to cost this much and a range of choices in prices of batteries that could be used.
On this occasion and several previous visits I felt the organization either over charged or else turned what could have been a simple job into a very complicated and costly one. For instance on another occasion they inflated my tires with "nitrogen" without my specific request, which came at a hefty cost but no apparent benefit. (Regular atmospheric air is 80% nitrogen anyhow.) The service advisor always would seem to find something else he recommend to be fixed and it only would "only" cost a thousand dollars more for this and a couple of thousand more for that.  
In 2015 I obtained a "second opinion" on the costly preventive maintenance they advised in 2013 and previous visits; the "second opinion" shop reviewed the published factory maintenance schedules, some 20 years of repair records, and examined my car in detail, advising me none of the preventive work "strongly recommended" in the past by Motor Works was necessary.  I will stick with the new provider.
The quality of work always been good at Motor Works, but watch out for the complexity and the price.  Maybe the repair cost is no object for many Porsche owners, but it matters to me.

I have been using their service for about 6 years. I trust them and the diagnosis they give seems accurate each time. They are very interested in making their customers have a good experience.

It was all good.  The service was good and I got the appointment pretty quickly.  They have good knowledge about the car.  I think they’re pretty good.

The work that they did for my car was part of my warranty. They're quick and pretty responsive. They're professional and it's not a hassle. They don't up-sell.

It went well. They quickly had a loaner accessible so that I didn't have to rely on my wife taking me over there. The waiting facilities were nice. Once I've been alerted through them. I hadn't been there before and I think maybe they assumed that I had been. Nobody really directed me to where the actual waiting facilities were. They're just there on the spot when you arrive. They have a guy that pretty much stays with your car throughout the entire process. He's well appraised of everything that's going on and at one point, he had come back and checked with me because I had the work done on a service plan and he wasn't sure that everything was going to be covered but ultimately it was. He just wanted to be sure and clear that repair.

They are really good. It's very convenient because you can just roll in with your car for the oil change. They also always wash your car before they give it back to you. They also have a very nice lounge and their service is efficient.
