We have been taking our cars to Fast Eddies in Barrington and Crystal Lake the past 4-5 years. Yes, they are more expensive than the gas station, however, you get what you pay for. If you want a quality wash, fast competent service then go to them. If you wash frequently they have monthly programs and gift card deals that bring the costs down.

I have 2 kids and whenever we take a trip, I go to Fast Eddie's to de-kid the car. They have gotten out stains from light colored fabric that I never thought would come out and have my car looking like new very quickly. The guys working on the car are always very nice. Price is affordable for the level of clean. I have taken the car to a similar wash closer to my house and for the same price - it never looks anywhere near as good. I'd spend the extra travel time to take it to Fast Eddie's.
