"Customer said no work was done and in service performed said work was done. Did have several delays due to rain (can verify from weather history). They pushed all projects back. We did wash half their home and told her we would be back in about a week to begin. When we called her to begin, she said she had changed her mind. I asked several times to allow us to begin and then if not pleased with the our work we would pull out of the project and refund the deposit."
"The starting delay was due to us being CONTRACTED for RAIN DAYS for a LOWER COST. The contract was signed 7/9/08 & received on 7/12. On 7/14 they called and asked approx. when the work would be done. We told them about mid August. The project was started 8/13. Just what they had agreed upon but have obviously forgotten. Calls were returned within 24 hrs except once within 36 hrs only due to a MAJOR HEALTH ISSUE. NOBODY had QUIT we had plenty of work. The customer is requested to MOVE SMALL ITEMS ONLY. The crew had 2 apprentices 1 being my 17 yr old son who is learning the FAMILY TRADE being the 4TH GENERATION. NO FRIENDS are ALLOWED. The owner (myself) was ON SITE EVERY OTHER DAY due to health issues. Many employees have offered to testify to Angie's or whomever if the SLANDER DOESN'T CEASE. A first complaint was filed with the Attorney General & upon our response THEY CLEARED US finding NO WRONG DOING. The second complaint was filed with the Better Business Bureau. Again upon our response they DISMISSED the COMPLAINT finding NO WRONG DOING. Next was to Angie's List. With each agency, the member's complaint has changed. Maybe they just wish to TARNISH our name since we have been CLEARED of any LEGAL or MORAL ISSUES. If they were so unhappy why did they give ALL the men a TIP and PRAISE their work."
"AFTER THE CALL CAME IN WE CALLED 2-3 TIMES DAILY UNTIL REACHING THEM. WE SAW THE HOME 2 DAYS LATER. RESPONSE, DAILY FOLLOW UP,AND ESTIMATE WAS EXCELLENT CONSIDERING DELAY IN LIVE CONTACT. CONTRACT WAS RECEIVED 5/10 REQUESTING COMPLETION BY 6/30. ESTIMATED START WAS ABOUT 6 WEEKS WITHOUT WEATHER / PROJECT DELAYS BUT WOULD TRY TO MEET THE REQUEST. ON 6/28 WE HAD LEFT SEVERAL CELL MESSAGES LATER FOR COLORS AND HOME NUMBER. ON 7/6 WE FINALLY CONNECTED AND TOLD HER PROGRESS HAD BEEN SLOW SINCE WE LOST 9 DAYS TO RAIN, 3 DAYS RAIN REPAIR, SEVERAL DAYS SLOWED PRODUCTION DUE TO HIGH TEMPERATURES AND HUMIDITY, AND SEVERAL UNFORESEEN REPAIRS( ROTTED WOOD ) AT PREVIOUS PROJECTS. WE TOLD HER WE WERE STILL 3 WEEKS WITHOUT FURTHER DELAYS. ON 7/27 THEY CALLED TELLING US THEY WERE OUT OF TOWN 8/4 - 8/15 AND MUST COMPLETE BY 8/31. JUST PRIOR TO THEIR RETURN WE BEGAN A FOUR DAY PROJECT, AGAIN WITH UNFORESEEN EXTRAS EIGHT SITE DAYS, AND LOST 2 IN BETWEEN DUE TO RAIN, AND PART OF A THIRD MAKING REPAIRS. THEY CALLED 8/27 TO CANCEL, AND WERE TOLD WE WERE READY TO START ON 8/29 WITH A FINISH OF 8/31.THEY SAID IT WASN'T POSSIBLE, AND WE RESPONDED SIX MEN WOULD HANDLE THE TASK. WE APOLOGIZED MANY TIMES STATING WE WON'T RUSH ONE PROJECT TO GET TO THE NEXT, AND SENT THE DEPOSIT BACK."
"MUST BE SOME MISTAKE,OUR TOTAL QUOTE FOR THIS PROJECT WAS $11,925 NOT $18,000. WE CAN'T HONESTLY SAY IF WE WERE $5,000 HIGHER THAN THEIR OTHER BIDS, BUT IT SEEMS ODD SINCE WE CALCULATED 8-81/2 DAYS WITH 6 MEN FOR THIS PROJECT. WE CAN'T IMAGINE SOMEONE BEING ABLE TO DO A QUALITY JOB FOR $5,000 LESS. MAYBE WE HAVE BEEN CONFUSED WITH ANOTHER CONTRACTOR."
