Bonejour has mini-groomed our two Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers several times. Cristy Blair the owner and her staff are always very kind and professional when handling my dogs.
My dogs are comfortable at Bonejour and come home looking beautiful.
During my dogs’ last bath, Cristy found one of our Wheaten’s ears was slightly irritated on the inside. Cristy’s attention to detail and advising me of the irritation allowed me to care for my dog’s ear before the condition worsened.
I will definitely continue to use Bonejour.

Owner's name Kristy and she is excellent. My cat and dog love her. She does have a fabulous job. She is reasonable. She is on time. Our dog does not like aggressive dogs, so they are very good about keeping the animals separate. We have an expensive Siberian cat and she is able to groom the cat they way the cat is supposed to look like master groomer.

My long hair chihuahua was totally butchered! Blunt, uneven chops on random parts of her body. I should have known when I took her in and was explaining my concerns and no notes were being taken that I was NOT going to receive a grooming per my instructions.A simple: do NOT cut her tail was totally ignored. Also, no request for shot records! My daughter picked up the dog and I did not see her until that evening. When I went in to discuss what happened I was met by an unrestrained dog as tall as the counter with free access to the grooming area. If I had witnessed this unprofessional and unsafe environment when I dropped off my 5 lb dog I certainly would not have left her. I relied on the and quot;25 years experienceand quot; advertisement but on the Saturday that I went in there were only two girls grooming, not the owner with the experience.
The girl that cut my dog was listening to my concerns and looking at the pictures I had brought of the blunt and uneven cuts and tail that was cut at least 3 inches. When I asked her how long ago she had graduated grooming school, the other one interrupted and took over the conversation.
She was rude and lacked basic customer service skills. I tried to show her the numerous pictures I had taken and said that this grooming was totally unprofessional, just look at these pictures.
She became extremely agitated said she would have to see the dog in person and extremely defensive saying they were professionals and there was probably something wrong with the dog. She would not respond to the picture which showed how bad the dog looked.
She said and quot;just shut up and give me your number and I will have the owner, Christy, call youand quot;. I said my name and number and she just stood there. I said and quot;and you're not even going to write it down like she (the other girl) didn't write down the instructionsand quot;.
She responded: and quot;now your are harassing us and if you don't leave right now I am going to call the policeand quot;.
I said:and quot;you have got to be kiddingand quot; and I immediately left in total shock of how unprofessionally this was handled.
In addition, both of these and quot;techniciansand quot; left dogs that they were grooming unattended.
I felt that they were disinterested in my concerns and I was bothering them. I was completely shocked by the claim of harassment and police involvement. A simple we're sorry you are not satisfied and we will have the owner call you would have sufficed.
Just based on the fact that they did not follow proper procedure to make sure the dogs shots were up to date, had a large loose dog in the facility, and left dogs unttended makes this establishment UNSAFE. Combined with the lack of professional response to a legitimate claim demonstrates that this company does not warrant inclusion on Angie's List.
