I thought I had an air conditioner but when it's in the attic you don't really know what it looks like and I actually had an air handler. With gas forced air, it's either an air handler or a space pack. I have an air handler.
About 15 years ago they upgraded the system to run on a different kind of fuel and he got me up to date. Someone stole my air handler for about $20 worth of copper.
The only complaint I had was that the end result on the outside near my roof line was not as cosmetically attractive as it could have been.
I've used them 4 or 5 times at different properties.

Steve came to our house, on time, and looked over our Air Conditioning System. Our old unit was unable to hold Freon and he went over several replacement options. He listened to our concerns and helped us find a great system that was within our budget. He didn't just recommend the most expensive unit, I felt very comfortable that we got a great deal. In talking with our neighbors, I know I did. He was able to get the new unit and install the unit the next day. We are VERY happy with the new unit and have found our HVAC company from here on out!

My neighbor and I have used Air Mechanical Services located in Barrington for years. This year my neighbor has been ill. I knew she could not afford the service. I offered to pay Steve. Instead he cleaned and checked her furnace at no charge.

Steve has been looking after my a/c and furnace for several years now. I have recommended him to several people. He has reasonable rates and came last winter first thing when my furnace was acting up. Always a helper...
