Very professional, explained and showed me how old weathered and bare wires in our outdoor a/c unit had caused a power surge that blew the capacitors both inside and out. It’s a 25 year old a/c unit so I was sure we were in for a replacement. They got it up and running again within an hour or so. Very happy we didn’t have to replace the whole unit. Works great and would definitely recommend these guys.

The person setting up the appointments asked good basic questions, and let us know what to expect. When there was a slight delay on arrival time for the repair, we got a call well in advance to let us know what to expect. The repair person did a wonderful job of letting us know what was being done and why. This proved very valuable when a few days later the furnace stopped again, and we were able to get it working. The replacement of the units was scheduled, and when they learned that our furnace had gone out again, and two other clients weren't going to be able to have work done as planned, we got moved into one of those slots. The workers arrived promptly. They obviously knew what they were doing. After scoping the details, they asked for our input on a couple of matters regarding where pipes and exhausts would run. It took most of the day, as expected. They minimized the mess (though I did some more clean-up after they left). Materials were picked up by a recycler, which I greatly appreciated that they had made those arrangements. The furnace has been functioning well. There has not been an opportunity for a long term test of the A/C. The town inspector approved the work.

For 21 yrs they've serviced our furnace & AC twice a yr, as scheduled, no mess, no fuss. When the AC sprung a leak & lost all ccolant, the owner came out with our complete maintenance history, didn't push to replace furnace but we decided to do it. They couldn't install the new equipment for a week, but he had add'l coolant installed without charge so we were comfortable in the 90 temps. The installation went as quickly, cleanly and smoothly as the maintenance.

Came out right away and were very professional.

I met with Tim on Oct. 3rd. He explained all the options for a new furnace/AC system and the pros and cons of each. He made a recommendation of the equipment that he thought would do best in our house based on square footage and how we use our furnace and AC. Tim wrote up the order, took care of getting the building permits, and the install date was set for Nov. 13th. The installation day went very smoothly. Two techs arrived right on time and worked all day - each person taking over parts of the installation process which included work inside and outside. At the end of the day, they walked my husband and I through the new equipment and answered all of our questions. The system has been working great - we are so thankful we got this done before we had this very cold winter! Tim had also written up the sales order to take into account the rebates from the electric company, gas company, and the furnace company, so they did all the work to get those rebates processed and we just paid the remaining balance.

They were punctual and they fixed the problem.

My Aprilaire was leaking water. He diagnosed the problem, fixed it and notice that my furnace had not been cleaned in 9 years. Offered to clean it at a reduced rate. No hard sell. I really needed it cleaned. Did the work thoroughly and left everything working great. Very satisfied.

He was here for less than an hour with the install. He knew what he was doing and took good care of the problem.

Serviceman was prompt courteous and knowledgeable. I signed up as a regular customer and scheduled a service call to clean and check my air conditioner in the spring.

It went very well.  Gentlemen were very professional and work was completed in a timely fashion.

Always an easy thing to do -- the service person always arrives on time and I since I have them checking my H & A I have never had any breakdowns. There sceduling is always convienient and never have any problems.

It was very good. They were very efficient. It was probably the second or third we have hired them. The people are very friendly and good at explaining everything and very good at answering questions.

I would recommend this company to other people who are in need of this type of service. I will also say that I have been a customer with them for a long time and I think that is why they have been so good to us. There is nothing that I don't like about them.

Day of closing unit was not working. A & C was called out to repair -we were told over the phone that there was not a leak in unit. 2 weeks later air was not working, found out they never checked for leak, even though they had advised the previous owner that there was a leak. My complaint was that I closed on this house based on their report that everything was okay - no leak. Their technician was told not to divulge information to us - he not only didn't divulge he lied. We have already spent 542.00 on service calls and we also need a new evaporator coil. Said he would put in coil for $650.00 - a $250.00 discount. My repairman at my old home said he would replace coil for same price - called A & C asked for 250.00 credit for past service calls and I would replace coil with my guy - they refused. The owner of this company seems like a nice man, but the service manager seems to make all the decisions and is very unreasonable and defensive. I believe he is trying to cover himself.

I chose Ahrens after taking four bids. The company delivered and performed as agreed. The Ahrens sales rep and installers were excellent. There was no suprises and the furnace is equal to my expectations. I am very satisfied!
