Description of Work: Since they installed a battery in my car in January, I went to them on 4/3/2013 to find out why the battery light was on in my car. They looked at it and said that I needed a new alternator. They said that they checked on it in January, but I will need to pay them $416 for the part and labor. Went to another place and was change 1/2 the price for the same part. Not worth the problems.

+ -1 moreI went to them and they said that it was my regular brakes, it was the ABS system. They evaluated my brakes and said that they were perfectly fine. They sent me to a dealer shop. I was very grateful to them for evaluating my brakes because they didn?t charge me for that. They were just very polite and nice. They did try to get me to sign something or to take a package for some $400 and if you take this package, whatever repairs you need will be taken from this package. I didn?t know what that whole thing was because I couldn?t afford the whole package and said no. I thought that they were great. They explained everything. I have been there a couple of times for various things. I think that their price was not exorbitant. I thought that they were very professional.
Description of Work: I went to the Merlin 200000 Mile Shops for some brake issue about a year ago.

+ -1 moreGreat job. Great personality and very bright and cheery people. They don't make it a chore to get your car looked at. And the prices were great. So much better than the dealers!
Description of Work: I went in needing an oil change and my tires rotated. I had a coupon from their website. When I walked in and told them what I wanted done, they pointed to the coupon that would help the most. They took the car and had it ready when I needed it. They gave me advise on how to keep my car running better for longer, without talking down to me. They did only the work that I asked, but still did all of the checks on the car.
