Lynda is an excellent teacher for someone that wants to learn how to play the piano what makes Lynda so effective she knows how to teach the beginner but can also adjust her approach to the more advanced student as well she not only teaches the “mechanics” but can teach theory as well that could lead to composition. She works well with young and old alike very good disposition that can foster curiosity and encourage not only playing the piano but other instruments as well. She also play a nice piano.

My son started piano lessons right before his third birthday with Miss Lynda. He has learned so much in the past 9 months. It is pretty amazing. She has been incredibly patient with him, and manages to keep him engaged for the entire lesson. He looks forward to his lessons, and has learned a lot. In only 6 months he was able to play twinkle twinkle little star at his first recital.

At the age of 79 years I finally retired from a full-time work schedule. I had always wanted to be able to play the piano but hesitated because of my age. Finally, I decided, what the heck, I'll give it a try. Finding a teacher who would understand that my ambition was not to become a piano virtuoso but simply someone who could enjoy playing for its own sake was a daunting task; however, I lucked out on the first try. Lynda was chosen for location, but she is the best teacher I have ever seen. She is patient, understanding, has a sense of humor and had me playing a song after the first lesson. She lets me go at my own pace but keeps me interested in getting on to the next lesson. As an adult I found her just the person I was looking for. She has a pupil whose lesson comes after mine. This little guy is about 8 years old. Lynda seems to have kept up his interest in the piano, and I have overheard (no evesdropping, just getttng my stuff together) her patience and interest in him. She does well with all ages it seems. I would be happy to recommend Lynda to anyone, child or adult, and feel sure they would be getting one of the best teachers in the area.
