Edgar and Joel did a phenomenal job! They were friendly and conscientious in their work. They were very respectful in how they spoke to each other too. I appreciated they wore face masks and shoe coverings. The window is beautiful! I will definitely use Glasshopper again.

The project basically happened in three stages:

First, a very polite, professional gentleman named Chris arrived promptly, measured the window openings and verified the windows were leaking. Chris was thorough and pointed out we needed 6, not 4, panes replaced.  This was followed up by a written estimate from the office. The price quoted seemed very reasonable compared to another estimate I had  received from another company to replace just 4 windows.

Once we sent an email accepting the proposal, they confirmed they were ordering the material and advised it would take approximately two weeks to receive the glass from their supplier, at which point they would call to schedule the installation.

Once the glass arrived, there was a seven day wait for their first opening. Two very pleasant, professional installers (Edgar and Josh) arrived promptly.  After a walk-through of the project they went to work.  In one hour they had all six windows installed, had cleaned up and were gone.

Based upon our experience I would highly recommend this company to fellow Angie's  List members.

Went great. I saved $$$ vs. replacing the entire window(s)

Original install went fine.  After 4.5 years the seal went bad again.  Receipt says 10 year warrantee on glass.  They said they verbal told us it was a depreciated warrantee and the replacement total cost was going to be $187.50 and their guy should have never said it was a full warrantee.  They do not stand behind what their people say and do not put it in writing.  I would not use again and will pay full price to another company before I will give them any money again.  I would avoid them.

The technicians worked quickly and efficiently and they were able to remove the cracked window glass without breaking it.

Process from initial call to installation went very smooth (no issues).  Final price and quote were the same.
On the day of install, Technicians Chris and Egar were very friendly and informative.  They arrived on time and completed the job quickly and professionally.  They even took the time to explain the process and how the inner workings of the windows functioned.  Seals and windows are guaranteed for 10 years and I am pleased with the results so far.  Much cheaper alternative to replacing the whole window.  Final price per window came to a little less than $200.  Please note, on my house one window frame contained 2 seperate windows (top and bottom).
I would use them again and refer the company to others.

I placed an order over the phone for two plexiglass panels with standard screw holes in the corners, the secretary took the measurements, and my husband picked them up.  When he got home the "small" holes I'd discussed with the secretary were gigantic, making the panel useless for my project.  I contacted the company and was offered no recourse to correct, replace or refund the order.  I was very disappointed and would not use this company again.

Prompt reply to call with visit to measure, quick estimate, came back 10 days later with the new pane, easily accommodated some issues here that affected their ability to quickly do the install. Altogether a good experience.

They called us back within two days with the glass panes ready for pickup.  When we arrived the glass panes were shown and when approved, carefully packed for the trip home in the car.

Professional. Final priced matched estimate. Quick. Cleaned up nicely afterwards. Quality seems good.

The whole process took about a week and a half which, I thought, was really fast. The technician came out on a Monday to look at the windows and take measurements for a quote. He was very thorough and answered all of my questions. We received the quote the next day (Tuesday) from Larry. After getting another quote from another company, we decided to go with Glasshoppers and I called on Thursday to order the windows. I was told it would take about a week to get the glass in and I heard back from Larry the following Tuesday to make an appointment for the installation. I scheduled the installation for Thursday morning at 9am (one week since ordering the windows). Two technicians (the one who originally did the measurements and another guy) showed up ready go 20 minutes EARLY! :) Not late, but early. Larry had told me over the phone that the installation would probably take about 3 hours to complete, but these guys had it done in an hour and a half! :) That was great because I was having to keep my two kids and two dogs in another room and out of their way while they worked. I had gotten a chance to take down the window treatments for a few windows, but not all. The guys were great and said they didn't need them taken down, they could just move them aside and raise the blinds up. Less work for me!! Yay! My three year old son really wanted to watch them work for a little bit and both guys were really nice about it and let him watch, but I kept him out of the way for the majority of the work. When they were done, I paid for the work, got a receipt and was told the replaced windows have a ten year warranty on them. I am extremely pleaseed with how painless and efficient the whole process was. I would definately recommend Glasshoppers to family and friends for replacement windows. :)

THE REPLACEMENT WENT WELL. I TOOK THE MEASUREMENTS TO THE SHOP AND THEY LATER CAME TO THE HOUSE TO REPLACE THE WINDOW.

The emergency visit was quick and on time. After 8-10 days to obtain replacement, Glasshopper did not show up for the scheduled installation appt. They said we were not home, however, they just didn't show up. It took them another week+ before they could reschedule. They finally showed up and completed repair. The price for the original call was reasonable. The price for the replacement seemed high, but I had no basis for comparison.
