This has been going on now for more than a month. The person that I dealt with initially seemed like a nice guy. I filled out the paperwork and I have had to send it back 3x because my name wasn't spelled right. The numbers kept increasing it as well. I agreed on the rate and even gave them my credit card information. I got a better deal from another lender by an 1/8 of a point so I called them to see if they could match it. They said they would but then they came back and said they could not. I asked them what we could do about it and they said there was nothing they could do. I told him if they had sent me the accurate information in the first place we would have already closed. This is costing me money because I am paying a higher interest rate. So I told them I would be taking it to the higher up's & consumer frauds.
