There out here almost every day. The plant was built in '62. Some systems have been upgraded and some of them have not, so we've got things of various age around here, some that are pretty old and some that's a little bit newer, but we run them hard. A lot of our chilling equipment particularly is run very, very, very hard. I handle all of the contractors that do repairs in the facility and I probably write out as many purchase orders for Artlip as I do for everybody else all put together just because of the type of business that we have. I did five today, so if that gives you some idea. When you're using compressed air you need to have it clean and moisture-free, so the air dryer dries the compressed air. I won't know what the cost was until I get a bill. We don't usually talk about prices beforehand. I've worked with them for long enough that I know I'm going to get treated fairly, and if I have a question I'll call them. We've got more presses than we do comfort, but just on the comfort between window units and the rooftop units and everything, I've got about 200. I have no idea how many presses I've got, but I've got 200 outside units that manage air inside in some sort of way. I would give them all A's. They're good at making things run that you should probably give it it's last rites.

They normally turn out very well for us; that's why we keep them. We've had quite a few different HVAC contractors in here, and at one point we decided we were going to go with single sourcing for our ongoing air conditioning needs and heating needs. We did quite an extensive bit of research on figuring out who offered what as far as value and how well they knew our equipment and how well they've done engineering work for us in the past, etc., etc., and that's what we settled on. They're here almost every day. This is a large plant. We have a technician that's our primary contact and I'd say he's here at least three or four days a week. We have a lot of process chillers besides just comfort cooling and heating here. There's a lot of that type of thing. They also handle our building fans, the huge 300,000 cubic feet a minute fans. We've got about 20 acres under roof. The people who have to work in the boiler house are happy - it's normally 135 ° out there. It's pretty miserable out there when the boilers are running; not so bad in the Winter time. If we have a breakdown in the Summer time out there in the boiler room, we'll even pay the overtime so we don't kill people. They're very knowledgeable, they're creative with the solutions, they're sensitive to costs as far as repair vs. replacement, and if we have an engineering issue they'll bring that up at the time. We had one area that was running pretty poorly because it was very heavily negative pressure and they mentioned that really we've got too many fans running in this area. We cut them in half and everything was perfect. They save us a lot of money in the long run. They really know our stuff; that helps a lot.

Called for an appointment and they were able to send someone the next day for a pre winter furnace check/cleaning and to check on a noise that occurred when the fan was running. They called 3 hours before the appointment as they had someone available and if it was ok to send someone then. Kyle arrived and cleaned the furnace and found the noise caused by ductwork not the fan. While waiting for someone to bring the necessary part Kyle even helped fix a bi-fold door that wasn't closing. Kyle was very nice and polite and clearly answered all of my questions. I would try them again.

ARTLIP HAS DONE WORK FOR US & FOR OUT FAMILY FOR MANY YEARS, ACROSS MANY SEASONS. WHILE THEY ARE SOMETIMES A PAIN WITH THE "SALES" ASPECT OF THE BUSINESS- NO ONE BUT A SALES GUY CAN TELL YOU ANYTHING ABOUT A PRODUCT OR SERVICE, ETC.- THEY ARE RESPONSIVE & THE WORK IS DEPENDABLE. IT IS NOT CHEAP, BUT SEEMS NO MORE EXPENSIVE THAN OTHER COMPANIES IN THE ARE. THEY DID SOME WORK OVER A YEAR AGO ON OUR A/C THAT HELPED US OUT AT THE LOWEST COST POSSIBLE, WHICH THE REPAIR GUY HELPED STEER US TOWARD. SO THAT WAS REALLY GOOD. AS FOR OUR SATISFACTION WITH OUR HUMIDIFIER, WE ARE REALLY PLEASED WE GOT IT & IT'S WORKING VERY WELL AGAIN THIS YEAR.
