Always Faithful Plumbing

This individual is a bully and scam artist. I saw his van parked outside of church and thought to give a fellow parishioner some business. I should have joined Angie's List instead and picked a rated company to install the RPZ valve for the sprinkler system I was installing. He arrived and refused to provide a quote for the work before beginning. He did not come with the parts, rather sat around my house and told me to drive to the store and go get them. Later I found out he sat around my house "on the clock". Once the parts were in hand, I wanted to watch, in part to make sure he was actually working not sitting around, and in part cause I'm a curious fellow. He told me he didn't like being watched. He took over 8 hours to do the job total. Tried to charge me over $1200 for labor alone. When I refused to pay that much he yelled and screamed and bullied and all but physically attacked me and used intimidation until I signed a bill of sale for that much. He ended up "settling" for $900. I called a local reputable plumbing firm after the fact, and was told that the job he did they would have quoted me up front at a flat fee of $350 labor plus parts. And they would have brought the parts with them. DO NOT USE this company, EVER. He may seem nice at first, but he's a bully and a thief. Stick with a reputable Angie's List company, and GET A QUOTE UP FRONT. If a plumber ever bullies you as this guy did me, CALL THE POLICE and tell him to GET OFF YOUR PROPERTY. STAND OUTSIDE WHERE THE NEIGHBORS CAN WATCH. DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING. One of the worst experiences in my life!
