great price and honest service. couldn't ask for more and we're going with them to get new garage doors next fall/spring.

Rich met with me to evaluate my current garage doors and openers. He presented me with several options, provided cost estimates and left me with brochures from 2 companies. He was helpful in answering all my questions. The installation of the doors, motor, track, remotes etc., which took the entire day, went well. I highly recommend Allan Garage Door.

They replaced 2 door coils. They were very responsive, courteous, professional and pricing was competitive.

Excellent. Rich applied lubricant. Recommended against replacing pulley ($95) due to the age of the opener (19 years). He also synced garage door opener with car, which I was unable to do myself because the instruction manual was missing the second step (as Rich pointed out).

The Alan Garage Door service man arrived less than half an hour after my call. He worked quickly and had everything back in working order in no time. He also did some lubrication and gave me suggestions for preventative maintenance.

I called and left a message for Richard. He called me back the same day within a couple of hours and arranged a time to come out the same day. Richard was very friendly and professional. He provided quotes for repair and replacement. I decided to go with replacement instead of repair. I wanted a unit that had the ability to be controlled from my cell phone. Richard recommended that I purchase a unit from Menards, because it was a cheaper option than what he could supply. He recommended a brand and told me what brands to stay away from. I purchased the unit and he installed it the next day. He arrived when he said he would and did a great job on the installation. Installation costs was $140. He installed a 1 1/4 hp belt driven unit with wifi that I purchased at Menards. I would definitely use Allan Garage Door again.

I called Allan Garage Door Co at approximately 7:15 a.m. & Rich said he could be at my house at about 8:30 a.m.  He arrived a little early, was very friendly and professional and went straight to work.  He had everything repaired and replaced and reconnected my automatic garage door opener and tested it several times by 9 a.m.  I was extremely happy with the prompt service done in such a friendly and professional manner. 

Very prompt and reasonably priced for replacing my two garage door seals. He also tightened the garage door chain while he was there and oiled the garage door. The new seal looks great and the garage door is quieter now.

We called Rich on Saturday morning and he was able to come by and take a look at our garage door opener that was having issues.  We had a feeling we would need a new one and Rich confirmed our feeling.  He told us he could come back on Monday and install one that we needed purchased.  ( He doesn't carry openers on his truck but gave us a suggestion of an opener.  After some research, we went out and purchased the opener he suggested.)

On Monday, he called to make sure we had purchased the opener.  He arrived about a half hour later, right about the time he quoted us on Saturday. Punctual...check!  He explained what he was going to do and I left him to his work. When he finished, he knocked on the door to  let me know he needed me to punch in the new code.  Then he explained how the new system worked.  When I confirmed I understood, he went to his truck to give me the bill.  The bill was exactly what he quoted.  Professional...check!

Rich was punctual and professional.  He left the work area clean, what else can I say.  We will use Allan Garage Door Co. again!

The work was done well. We were very satisfied and would recommend his services to others.

I called Allan Garage Door in the AM after a garage door spring broke.  We set up an appointment for the afternoon.  Rich arrived.  We talked through what needed to be done and he went to work.  He recommended replacing both springs even though only one had broken but he didn't push for it.  I did replace both springs as they were 10+ years old.  A half an hour later, he was all done.  He went over some routine maintenance that will keep the garage door quieter going forward.  The entire time he was friendly and polite. 

It went fine. I like that they gave me quick service and they came at the time they told me they were going to come.

Rich Duy was very pleasant to deal with and he was very punctual.  He did excellent work and provided tips on how to maintain the
springs and hinges on the garage door.  He also repaired the springs on my parent's garage door on 04-22-13 and did an excellent
job there also.

I called at the end of the previous week to set up an appointment on the following Monday to have a garage door repair estimated.
The unit would only partially open on first &  second tries. Usually the door would work on third try.
Rich came out within the time window as promised.
He quickly diagnosed the problem as a broken spring.
He replaced the broken spring & offered to change the second spring at a discounted price, as he told me it would probably wear out within a year.  I agreed to have him perform the work.
He completed the repair in about 45 minutes.
Rich also performed lubrication & grease on door parts where required.
Door has been working like a charm ever since.

Back in February '12 my garage door did not raise all the way, it stayed
down about 3 inches from max open. When I backed my truck in, the cap
struck and damaged the door. I manually closed the door and called Rich.
He came out the next morning.
After looking it over he said he
could repair it. He advised against replacing it then because of the
very cold weather explaining the seal of the door and track alignments
would change when it warmed up, he could patch it up to make it last.
45 minutes later he was done. The repair was EXCELLENT. He gave a quote of about 1000.00, depending which door I chose. He charged me $85.00 and said to give him a call when I decided to replace it. ($85.00 is what you normally pay just to get a repairman to come to your house.)
I called him the end of Sept. - he came out, I chose a door and he scheduled it. He arrived promptly that day. He was polite, professional, and personable. His craftsmanship was impeccable, you can see the pride he has by the exceptionally high quality of his work. I wish he did more than work on garage doors!!! ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING - thank you Rich.

We were unable to open our garage door at all.  Rich came over a few hours later and replaced a very large coil.  He was very friendly, informative and explained everything that needed to be done.  I highly recommend him to anyone.

I bought a replacement opener after the old one broke. While getting ready to install it, I realized the existing extension springs didn't have safety wires. And, I didn't have a record of how old the springs were. I decided there was enough risk to merit hiring a professional. I contacted Allan Garage Doors (Rich?) on a Monday evening. He came out our first mutual free time, the following Thursday morning. He installed the opener I had bought, replacing all components that come with a new opener. He inspected the springs, and advised they were not in need of replacement. He installed safety wires, which keep the springs from becoming medieval weapons if they snap. Finally, he lubricated the garage, and pointed out some existing damage to the door which will require special attention as I do periodic maintenance. The door is working better than it has since I bought the house, in 2002. The total was exactly the estimate he gave on the phone for the opener replacement and the safety wire installation. Also, he declined to do work that he found to be unnecessary. In addition to saving me labor costs, it allowed me to return about $70 worth of parts to the hardware store. Total work time: about 2 hours.

On Yahoo reviews, Allan service has a good rating as far as price is concerned. This first time I used them, I didn't even price them out and was just willing to pay since it was the middle of winter. It is so nice to park your car inside!

He came within 2 hours and had it done right away. He did a good job.
