Robin showed up on time and was great. He was very knowledgeable and looked at a few different options for running the line. His price was great and everything was done without any problems. I'd definitely hire him again.

I am thrilled with the results of Robin's install. He ran about 40 cables throughout my townhouse that I recently purchased. He didn't make any holes other than the ones he installed plates into for jacks. I have no clue how he did it to be honest. You get a lot more for your money with Robin. He is a true professional, and can do work that others can't. He doesn't nickel and dime you, and really cares about the quality of the work being performed. He does things the right way without being told. I have found that a lot of people these days just want to get the job done and get paid. They don't care about anything else, including your property or safety. Robin is not one of those people. He was careful to use proper fire retardant caulk where necessary, even though I would never have known the difference. I really can't say enough good things about him. By the way, he is the owner, and will be the main guy doing the install. (Gary is great too!!) I will absolutely recommend him to friends and family, and use him for all future wiring projects. The name says it all - Affordable Jacks. I am ex-Telephone (as is Robin). I have my Internet router in my wife's office in our new home. It was in mine in our old home. I work on PCs for our neighbors and could no longer plug an Ethernet cable into the PC I was working on unless I strung a cable on the floor between the two offices. Not acceptable. What I wanted was to connect two existing telephone jacks in both offices together with cat5 cable. This way I can plug an Ethernet cable from the router to the jack in my wifes office and plug a PC into the outlet in mine. I looked at the job - I could do it but it would have taken me several hours. I called Robin for an estimate. His office said he could do the work today if I liked the estimate - I did. It was under $100 dollars, about an hour's work. For me to purchase the jacks and wire retail would have probably cost me $40 - 50. I also mentioned I would  like to have a wire fished from my door bell to the basement, so I could install a door bell down there. I have poor hearing and cannot hear the door bell if I am in the basement. All told Robin was here for an hour and half and the total was $95 for both jobs - I would have been happy with that for the original! Neat, clean all the wires were fished without marring the walls,. The wires were professionally stapled to the the basement joists. A++ I would recommend and/or use his services if I need wiring done again

Best service experience ever!!  I'm not sure where to begin... first let me start out by saying the owner is the person that not only performs the free on-site estimate, he actually performs the installs.  Talk about peace of mind!  His knowledge and professionalism are un-parallel.  He provided excellent information and gave expert advice on camera locations for best possible viewing of the surveillance cameras... which, in my case, meant purchasing less cameras than I first anticipated!!

Did I mention no wires??  Robin (owner and installer) is a magician with the wiring!  He goes the extra mile and a half to ensure there are no unsightly wires and zero mess from the installation.  Affordable Jacks has the best prices out there, AMAZING work and the peace of mind that the owner of the company is on-site with the installation. Couldn't be happier!!!

It went perfectly and as a matter of fact, my wife had called Robin today to have a couple more cameras installed. The story is pretty much the same as stated above. Not much more to add. If you'd like home security installed or pretty much anything to do with video cabling, phones, or a/v, Robin is worth the call.
