Vincent L. Braband Insurance, Inc.,

I have been using Braband Insurance for our Home Policy, two Auto policies, and an Umbrella Policy for the past 15 to 20 years. Unfortunately, the agents have seemed to specialize over the years.  Rather than being able to ask one agent all my questions, I would increasingly be referred to others in the agency.  Greg, the agent I had generally preferred to talk with, would increasingly refer my questions to other agents.  Those agents were brusque and abrupt, rude, or just unwilling or unable to find the answers I needed.  Greg is a good agent but there were too many specific areas that he could/would not handle.  I reached a tipping point when I dealt with one agent who was completely incapable of giving me a straight answer, and unwilling to offer his professional advice.

Finally I called another insurance agency that did not know me from Adam.  The lady I spoke with agreed to help me.  She got my information, asked pertinent questions, and made sure she understood my dilemma.  She then researched the situation and got back to me within an hour, telling me exactly the information I sought, and offering the professional advice I needed. At that point I wanted to switch to her company.  She told me the timing would cause me to pay more in rates, so I waited for the policy to expire.  She had just performed two very selfless services for free, that were both quite beneficial to me.  I finally left Braband in January and switched over to her insurance agency.  

In this report, I have graded the agency, not the individuals.  The expenditure noted was our approx. annual insurance charge.
