Tim's Glass & Mirror

Job went quick. New glass door was a exact match and installed. Can not tell the difference between the new and the other glass door. The cabinet was over 30 years old and hard to believe there was no any difference

They were excellent! They were on time, they were flexible with when they came for appointments based on my schedule and the work was extremely beautiful and professional. I would recommend them to anyone! Extremely friendly people.

The worse contracting experience ever!  Tim came and looked at the job promptly -- it all went downhill after that.  It took a month to get an estimate -- we called several times and got no response; finally we had to go to Tim's office in person to get it.  Tim ordered the window glass and again we didn't hear from him.  For another month and a half we called, left messages and got no response -- again we had to go to Tim's office to find that the glass had arrived and get him to schedule the installation. 

Two men came to do the job - one smelly strongly of alcohol.  When we asked then how to explain how they would do the job, they said they weren't sure.  We called Tim who defended them, saying they did know what they doing and just were not articulate.  He claimed the guy smelling of alcohol had had a hard life but the smell couldn't be alcohol, just garlic. NOT!

They started the job -- saying it would take two hours -- it wound up taking seven!  The window was installed immediately and they spent the rest of the time doing the capping.  They didn't bring the right equipment - they needed something sturdy to hold the sheet metal cutter, instead they used one shaky plastic garage can and everything keep falling on our brick patio.  We suggested they needed saw horses and they left and spent another 45 minutes going to get them. 

When they finally finished the capping, they caulked around the joints.  Another disaster -- it was so messy, looked like it was done by a two year old!  Plus they didn't use a drop cloth and smeared caulk everywhere -- on the side of the house and it all over the bricks.  We insisted they repair it and clean up their mess, but it still looks very unprofessional and our bricks will never be the same, white caulk doesn't come off easily.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from Tim's!

I can't say enough positive things about this company--they are doing it all right! I had the pleasure of meeting Tim, Jr. personally for the measuring/estimate process so I learned more about this second generation, family-owned company. They are on the cutting edge of all the newest installation techniques and innovations. They weren't the most inexpensive estimate I received, but I feel the total experience--from scheduling to installation to final result--was worth every penny. Not only did they install our gorgeous frameless shower glass, but they also adjusted an existing new shower door in another bath that we had installed last year from another company that we had chosen to not use again. I would hire Tim's Glass and Mirror again without hesitation.

Excellent all around! I found the company on Angie's List and called them for an estimate. I spoke to Ryan and gave him the specifics. Single pane of glass in a garage window that was 18and quot;x36and quot;. He gave me a quote over the phone and scheduled the work for the following Monday with a possibility of coming out this afternoon. He called back only a few hours later and said they could make it by the same day. Only 4 hours after my initial phone call I had a new piece of glass installed. Very nice guys and prompt clean service. Will definitely use again. Thanks Ryan!

It could have been better. The initial installation wasn't really done correctly. The doors weren't hanging correctly, there were gaps in the door, and they were hard to open. I called them and they came out the next day to fix the problems. They didn't completely fix the main problem, which was needing the frame shimmed. The guy that came out was able to make adjustments to the doors so it's easier to open and they now seal, but they are still looser then we'd like.

On time, work done quickly, no complaints. They adapted to our last minute schedule change.

I found them on Angie's List. The guy came in and measured and it was very accurate. Their price was one of the reasons we went with them because I called around and they had the best price.

I received a price quote right away and it took a couple of weeks (over Thanksgiving) to receive it, but everything was like clockwork and I'm very happy with the product and service. I would recommend Tim's to others.

From the first inquiry through the installation, we were thrilled with the product, the installation, and their expertise and professionalism. The finished glass enclosure was exactly what we wanted. It is beautiful! The installers were punctual, neat and knowledgeable. And most importantly, they did a beautiful job. We would definitely refer them to our friends and family.

Thanks to Tino and Jason, the job went smoothly. Tino was great from the time he came in to do the estimate. We wanted to utilize our existing mirror, just have it cut to fit around light fixtures. Tino was great about accommodating us that request. He also had a lot of practical input regarding the configuration of the shower door. Everyone was professional and responsive. The job was done smoothly. You can tell that Tino and Jason take pride in their work. They paid a lot of attention to the small details. My old mirror looks new again!

These guys are rockstars! Tim Jr. showed up on time, and was very friendly and knowledgeable. He knew immediately what we wanted (we had at least one other estimate where we spent more time trying to get them to understand the project). He guided us towards a much better solution for framing the mirrors using a frame to match our faucet colors, rather than order wood framing and try to match it to the cabinet finish. They installed the mirrors efficiently and even hauled away the old mirrors. Their website is very useful and really highlights their creativity and workmanship. Their prices were very fair for the work that was performed.

They knew their stuff and they gave me good suggestions. I used their suggestions. I was very pleased with them. It was Tim and his father. Tim was very pleasant and easy to work with. His father was a little grumpy.
