Two different times I tried to purchase Starmark cabinets here. The owner plays with numbers and is very pushy and unprofessional. The 'designs' (which are not done in-house) didn't work and even though I didn't place an order, the owner deposited my check of $4,182.50. The only way to get my money back, was to pay him a $500- fee and to sign off on a waiver. Basically, he stole $500- of my insurance claim money.
I don't know how Shapes stays in business with deceptive business practices. Go to Cabinet Creations in Mundelein.
