Georgetta came highly recommended from the Benjamin Moore Paint Store in Mount Prospect. I gave her a call and she came over the next day to give me an estimate. I accepted immediately and couldn't believe how reasonable she was. (We had some other paint work done recently by a contractor and they were much higher and bad quality.) Georgetta told me she had been painting and doing wallpaper for more than 20 years. She was able to start the job within a few days....based on our schedule. She was very responsive to our need to have it done quickly given out of town guests that were coming unexpectedly. And, WOW, was her work incredible...very detailed oriented and a perfectionist. Also, very pleasant to work with. I needed help with selecting a shade for one of the rooms and she gave me a great suggestion. I was amazed how quickly she completed the work and how clean everything was when she left. She charges an hourly rate to make sure she doesn't over charge and at the same time, be fair. (You never know what you might run into!) We were intent on having everything done right and perfect and that is what happened! She is the ABSOLUTE best painter we have ever hired!!! (The general contractors we have used for the two different additions we had used painters that were so bad!) From start to finish it was an awesome experience and Georgette is such a pleasant person to work with and really cared that we were satisfied.
