Great team and reasonably priced. Took care of pruning our 50 yr old silver maple like champs!

Dennis arrived on time for our initial meeting. We walked the property and discussed the job. The following morning I received a detailed estimate. I had a couple of questions ,and easily got answers from Dennis over the phone. I then signed the contract. About a week later I received a call to schedule the job. Once again the crew (four trucks and eight men) arrived on time at 8:00 AM. They got to work and cut down three trees, shredded the branches, haled away the trunks, and cleaned up. As they trimmed the four birch trees, they asked for my approval as they cut. At 11:00 AM they drove away, my property was clean as was the street.

These were extraordinary circumstances as a large limb had fallen on our home the day before. Sabatello Tree Care - the entire team - exceeded our expectations in every regards. This company had done work for us a few years ago at our previous home. Their high level of professionalism and service was very evident again this time. We wholeheartedly trust this company and strongly recommend them for all of your tree care, pruning and tree removal needs.

Our condo association switched to Sabatello Tree Care years ago and never looked back. They are full service, doing all of our pruning, fertilization, disease and pest prevention and removals. They have been protecting our mature ash trees from EAB since 2011 and I would recommend that anyone who loves their trees contact Sabatello Tree Service before it's too late!

This winter killed off a large maple tree in our backyard. We contacted four different tree care services with high rankings on Angie's List. The bids ranged from $3,800 to $1,900. We selected Sabatello Tree Care, and we are very happy with the work they performed. This job was tricky because of the tree's location, in a corner of our backyard near a power line transformer. ComEd disconnected the power from every house on our square block to perform this tree removal. That is not a reflection on Sabatello Tree Care at all, but those considering this kind of work might want to know about it. The Sabatello crew was on time, professional, thorough, and they had the lowest bid. They were here a little after 7:00 a.m. on the day we selected. They moved and then re-set a swingset, along with lawn furniture and planters in our backyard. We decided not to remove the stump, and they cut it off very close to ground level as promised. Their clean-up was exceptional. The work area was left clean, as well as the street in front of the house where they used a chipper. They were gone by 1:45 p.m. (ComEd reconnected the power at 4:00 p.m.) If we have other tree-related issues, we will definitely contact Sabatello Tree Care again.

I called for an estimate. I left them a voicemail, and it was 2 days before they called back. They came out to look at the job, said they would have a quote for me the following day, but it was actually 2 weeks before I heard anything.

Crew was very professional. Went well.

Not much to say. Three or four guys showed up when the boss said they would, cut down and dismantled a 25-foot high pine tree pretty quickly, and then cleaned up after themselves. Nicely done.

A young, fairly new arborist was sent out to our home to give us an estimate on removing some trees and trimming others. We walked the property together and the young man took notes. No card or any other information was given to me at this time. A few days later we received a quote by email. I wanted to get a few more quotes with other arborists, as this is a big job and I wanted to be sure I was getting the best price and the best expertise. It turned out that Sabatello's quote was more expensive by a few hundred dollars than the two others - especially for the removal of a large tree. Also, the young man never noticed that the top of one of our very large spruce trees needs to be removed, as it has a serious disease that can spread to the rest of the tree and wipe it out entirely. Two other arborists pointed this out to me and suggested removal, which we will be doing shortly along with the rest of the work. We will also have the large maple removed by someone who is not an arborist but is also insured and bonded. The cost will be half of what Sabatello quoted. Additionally, they never got back to us to see if we had any further questions or to ask if we had made a decision. This is just bad business, but seems to be the usual practice for not only Sabatello but for other companies we are working with. No follow up! What are they thinking?

Arborist walked property, and suggested needed maintenance. Quote was sent via email. Sabatello's quote was in line with other quotes, however they provided me the greatest amount of detail, and they provided me multiple maintenance options. Four days after we signed the contract, two crews came to the house to complete the work. All crew members were top notch. Very pleased with the price and service

We received 4 estimates, and Sabatello was second to the lowest and I am so glad we went with them!! The crew was just wonderful! I haven't had workers that did their jobs like this in many years.... this was just like the "good old days"!! Extremely professional, extremely careful and clean. Each member of the crew (there were 6-7 of them) had their specific job and they all worked together like clockwork. And they all seemed to enjoy their work, too. Jake, who did our estimate, was always punctual and responded very quickly to my questions. He was on-site the day of the work, not only to work with the crew, but to answer any concerns I had as well. We couldn't be happier and will recommend them to all our friends.

I needed to have several trees pruned and cutback prior to a roof replacement. My experience with this company was excellent from first contact to last. When Jake came out to do the estimate, he was prompt and professional. As someone who "inherited" a large, extensively-treed garden from a previous homeowner, I had many tree-care questions and he gladly answered them all. The estimate was very reasonable (not the lowest nor the highest) but I chose them for their customer service. They did have to reschedule when they had to handle heavy storm damage in the area but they were very apologetic and communicated with me throughout the process. The crew that arrived to do the work was prompt, polite and professional, as well as knowledgeable about the trees and their care. They explained everything they would be doing during a walk-through and then every one of them got right to work. We went for another walk-through to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction and it certainly was. Their clean-up was very thorough; they left the yard and driveway cleaner than they found them. I was very impressed by every employee I dealt with. I would definitely recommend them and plan to use them for all my tree care.

It was done as described in advance, and at an earlier date than predicted. The job took 3 hours total, with 3 regular workers and a trainee. It was very interesting to watch, and I would use the service again when needed.

We had two trees that died last year and a number bother trees on our property that required significant pruning to remove deadwood suckers and to raise the canopy of some. We called Sabatello and two other companies for quotes and Dru's quote offered the best overall value for the work that was to be performed. We had used him once before in 1999 to trim a number of large trees in the yard and to some significant land clearing. That work had been performed superbly so that was part of our reasoning for selecting Sabatello. Dru was prompt in contacting us and worked well in giving us our quote. Work was scheduled and began as scheduled. The crew worked continuously through both days stopping only for lunch. When they completed the work everything was neatly cleaned up. All the members of the crew were professional and courteous. Work was performed promptly and met all of our expectations. The trees look excellent!

Our landscaper referred us to Sabatello, and within one call to them, Dru called me back and stopped by the house a few days later. He was very friendly and prompt and the price was right! His crew came within a week, and removed the tree fast, professionally and without incident. They also ground down what was left of the stump. Over all very pleased!
