This past March we contacted Mal to get a quote on new siding, windows fascia, gutters, and soffits, to go with some brick staining that we were also getting done through a separate painter. Mal was in line with other quotes that we had received, but we went with him because he had a more personal touch in his presentation and went out of his way to come to our house and get us samples so we could feel confident in color and kind of siding. Mal was professional throughout the process, was easy to get a hold of and talk to, and was willing to work with us on scheduling around the other work we had going on at the same time. The workers that performed the work were also friendly and efficient. He also reached out directly to our brick stainer to ensure the schedule would work for everyone and loaned us a sample shingle so that our garage painters could exactly match the color to ensure everything worked together. Everything looks great, especially the detail work around windows and doors, and it is clear that Mal believes in standing by his work. When they removed the old soffits and saw that we had rotted wood all around half of our house (old soffits never had vents cut into the wood), he did not up-charge for the added lumber to repair. He also had his guys come out to fix the follow-up issues that came up, such as a few pieces that sagged and needed to be nailed back in, and a completely new fascia around our front door when I damaged what they’d already done when installing a new front door. Overall I am very satisfied with the work that was done and it looks great with the newly stained brick. I would definitely recommend working with Mal to anyone who was looking to update their siding.

My husband and I got quotes from four contractors before picking Professional Home Improvements. From the time we contacted Mal, we were treated with professionalism and warmth. Mal took the time to look over our property and explained his process and his product. He presented his proposal personally and responded with all our concerns and questions. He was able to provide a timeline and walked us through the process. I researched both the company and the product they were using for our siding job. The siding was the highest rated for our needs, according to an independent evaluation. The other contractors used a product that was rated slightly less. He also used thicker insulation and an extensive process for framing doors and windows. Professional Home Improvements is highly recommended on a number of websites. When Malâ s crew arrived, they introduced themselves and promptly went to work. With the exception of two days when the weather was terrible (snow storm on Halloween and pouring on the other day) they arrived promptly at 8:00am and worked tirelessly through the day with only their lunch break. At the end of every day, they cleaned up the work site before leaving. Mal stopped over many times during our project. He responded quickly to all of our concerns. We always felt that our project was important and that we were valued as clients. We are absolutely thrilled with our new siding, the workmanship of Malâ s crew, and with the professionalism, care and attention provided by Professional Home Improvements.

It's been great working with Mal. He's been in the business for a long time, competitive prices. Our siding has not been installed yet. Our neighbors used him a couple of years ago and loved his work.

They had a good crew that knew what they were doing. They found some hidden problems pointed them out and fixed them without any fuss. They also offered more little details that the other contractors did not offer or mention.

PHI spent the most time educating us on siding etc. They had competitive pricing and started the job before promised and also it took less time than they stated. In short they exceeded expectations in these areas. They left some siding material in one of our window wells--hopefully an honest oversight.

I was very pleased working with Mal to get this project completed. He appeared to pay special attention to us as customers and strived for our satisfaction. During projects like this, small issues always pop up, but for us, one phone call was all it took. We appreciate the work by the whole team to get the job done on time, and by the attention to the details. We got a quality product and great service for a fair price.

From the initial meeting until the final nail was pounded in, they went above and beyond to do a quality job. The attention paid to details around the doors and windows was incredible. They gave my house a completely new look, more then I ever could have hopped for! ! !

Mal and his staff were a joy to work with. Very professional and friendly. Any time a concern was raised, it was addressed immediately. They showed up on time and worked a full day. The job site was always cleaned up at the end of the day. I can't say enought good things about this company.

Mal was a gentleman from the very start of the project. He knew more about what we wanted on our buildings and helped us envision the finished product. I will admit building 1 was a trial and error, but Mal hung in there with us and gave us everything we needed to make our siding project(all 16 buildings) a complete success. The entire Board of Directors, a lot of our neighbors from the nearby buildings and friends and relatives, all comment on how much more updated our buildings are looking. All of the workers are real gentlemen, and hard workers, would gladly use them for the next project, gutters and downspouts.

I enjoyed working with Mal, the owner. He was on site quite a few times and easy to reach on the phone. His crew was efficient and cleaned up every day. They did and excellent job and paid attention to details. They even worked on Saturday! I got my money's worth and would reccommend them to anyone.

We cannot say enough about how excellent the crew from Professional were. From the first visit to give a quote to the finished product, we rate them A number One! They took their time to install our siding with great care. And they even cleaned up everything each evening before they left. We get so many good comments from all the neighbors on the excellent job.

I think they did from what I could see a very good job on this complex house. I say complex because we have 5 peaks to this house and they matched the tiles exactly squaring off the corners. I wish they did more than just siding and soffits.... Thanks

Overall, very impressed by their workmanship, price and quality. Only thing, it was important to us that the work (fascia/soffit) be completed well before wedding event at our home, as it was promised. Unfortunately, it was all completed day after. They were neat in placing their supplies in orderly fashion during event, but still an inconvenience. Overall, great job! I did hire them again for siding/roofing a year later. 2 yrs later, we did experience some darkening of interior walls, owner stopped by to ensure it wasn't their work. Still don't know what cause of it is.
