Description of Work: Main Street was a referral from Home Depot contractor services. Consultant was interested primarily in selling me a "bath wrap," rather than the re-tiling I wanted. He dissed Home Depot, the very entity that referred Main Street to me. Consultant would not breakdown bid into separate components so I could compare labor and material charges between tiling and bathwrap option. And bid was very high, even as compare to bid from Lowes contractor.

I regret that Mr. [Member name removed] had a bad experience with one of our design consultants. I have shared the review with him so he can learn from it. We are a service provider for the Home Depot and are required to use all licensed, bonded, insured and background checked trades so it is possible that we were higher than some of the other bids Mr. [Member name removed] received. Most bathroom contractors do not hold their trades to such a high standard and pull permits for these types of projects- WE DO. We don't try to persuade our customers into one product or another unless we feel their could be a warranty problem down the road. Acrylic Walls are a great solution with a lifetime warranty but it might not have been the look or feel for Mr. [Member name removed]. Our design consultant was following corporate policy by not giving Mr. [Member name removed] an itemized bid. As a service provider we provide lump sum estimates with an itemized scope of work.

Everything went fine. It was done in 3 days. They were very professional, they did a nice job.
