We started by meeting with them as a get to know you exercise. They asked us questions about our lifestyle and what we wanted out of our house. They listened and took a lot of notes. Then after about 4 weeks, we met with them again to see the initial drawing and idea that they had come up with. They showed us 3 different ideas: an attached garage, a detached garage and an environmentally low-impact home. We added some opinions about which design we liked best, then we added opinions about that particular plan. Then over the next few weeks my wife and I emailed Keith pictures of homes we liked. Keith drew up a detailed drawing of the house and then we met again. This time there were smaller adjustments and stylistic input. Shortly after, voila! We had our plans. Keith and Kirsten are both personal and professional. They are thorough and experienced. I would be very comfortable with them doing a rehab of an old home or a brand new construction.
