With 30 employees and operating a fleet of 13 trucks, we retain long-term experienced employees in the following divisions: Lawn Maintenance Landscape Construction/Plantings/Tree Work Above Ground Pool Service Holiday Decorating/Snow Removal/Firewood The owner of the company, Brian Block, has over 40 years of professional landscaping experience. He and his wife, Jill, founded the company in 1982 and have added to their client base every year. The business now serves residential, commercial and industrial sectors. A consistent high quality of service has made our customers loyal “repeat customers” who use a variety of our services.

Services we offer

Our employees are busy with landscaping and pool work from March until the end of November. During the winter months the focus shifts to holiday decorations, firewood and tree trimming. Excellent; Plants/trees/bushes are thriving, They keep the yard looking great, trim trees when needed, notify us if replacement plants might be needed. We have a lot of confidence in this business, and they earned it by providing rock solid service reliability.

J. B. Block has been my lawn service provider for the past two years (since I moved to this house), and they are fabulous. The weeds are gone from my lawn; the edging is always perfect; and my bushes are trimmed so nicely twice per year. I pay a monthly fee for grass cutting/edging, which is a very competitive price; especially considering the wonderful job that they do. They also do additional work for me (gutter cleaning, tree trimming, fertilizing, mulch spreading, etc.) My neighbors have all commented on how wonderful my yard looks now; and one of my neighbors has even started using them!

I can't say enough about how pleased I am with JB Block. Due to some unforeseen issues that cropped up in June, I have been using them to maintain my lawn since then. They were able to start the week that I called, talk about responsive. Initially I asked that they work on a month to month basis, and at one point I forgot to call to ask them to keep coming for another month. Once I realized my error, I called and they immediately resumed their work. No hassle or fuss. Their crews work quickly, and pay attention to the little things. They've worked around our Halloween decorations without a hitch. At one point we had trimmed some bushes and left the cuttings on the carport to put out with the trash only to discover that after cutting and edging the lawn, the crew removed the cuttings also. They will definitely be our first call for landscaping and yard projects going forward, as they do all forms of landscaping projects.
