The work was completed in a timely fashion, but the workmanship in the concrete work was very poor. The gutters were not attached to the house correctly and the house was not protected properly from the rain when the roof was open. The forms were removed from the steps before the concrete had set, this caused the concrete to sag. The repair was to grind the concrete to make it level and then coat it with a topping material. The gutter problem was resolved by attaching more hangers. The work was done in the fall 2011. In the spring of 2012 we noticed that the paint on the columns was peeling. Jeff sent his employee over to repaint the columns. In the fall of 2012, we noticed that the paint was peeling again. Jeff repainted them. In the spring of 2013 the paint failure was noticed again. Another repaint was done. The warranty on his work ended in the fall of 2013 and the paint was still peeling. Jeff refused to solve the problem. The coating on the concrete porch is now peeling and the sidewalk is sinking due to improper compacting and a poor base. Our Architect did a great job improving the curb appeal and Jeff gave us assurances that he would do quality work. He was responsive while we owed him money, but would not even talk to us after the warranty expired. I felt that since the paint problems were found during the warranty time, they should have been taken care of. A paint job should last more than 6 months.

Jeff and his guys,( Mike and Aaron) did an excellent job of redoing our family room. Jeff had some good ideas to solve the problems,
i.e. removing a raised eating area and making the floor in the entire area leading into the kitchen all one level, removing all the drywall,
walls and ceiling, new insulation, moving and adding electrical work, painting, installing new bamboo flooring, installing the tv on the fireplace,and rerouting both heating and cold air ductwork. All the work was done while we were away which worked out well for everyone. They got everything done on time and cleaned and hauled away all the old material.
Jeff was open to our suggestions and gave us other alternatives as well.

The Innovative Home Services team took care of us from the start and throughout the project. They came in with great knowledge and expertise about what we were looking for, recommended the best strategy to get the final result we were looking for, and shared design ideas that we were really happy with. Their workers were clean and friendly throughout the installation process and seemed to really enjoy what they were doing.

These guys are terrific. They show up on time every day, keep good records on all the extras that come up, and also items that come in under budget. They were also terrific about handling other jobs I needed done, while they were here. All the subcontractors were similarly good. We had a small flood in the middle of the project, and they were there immediately with solutions. The work quality was terrific and they were responsive and responsible. Couldn't have asked for more. I will definitely recommend them and use them again.

Jeff's crew, Aaron and Mike arrived on time every single day that they were scheduled to work. The work went smoothly and advanced on schedule with little or no hitches. The work was professional and we are well satisfied with the results. Jeff stopped in on occasion to view the progress and offer his expertise. We found both Aaron and Mike a delight with which to work. We're certain that Aaron is well on his way to someday heading his own home improvement/renovation company.
When we first began taking bids, I was impressed by Jeff's assessment of our situation. He listened carefully to what we were asking, offered suggestions. He explained different approaches, explained the subsequent outcomes, but was always willing to do it whichever way we chose. His company had done work for trusted friends/family, so in addition to Angie's List, we knew his work was well recommended.
We were asking for a myriad of different projects affecting every floor of our home. Jeff was willing to take it all on, which was a great relief to us. If we have home improvement projects in the future, Innovative Home Services would definitely be our and quot;go toand quot; company.

He is good. He is professional and he is reasonable. He is easy to communicate with which can be a problem when you have a lot of things to get done. The work he does is great.

I would strongly recommend them. I was pleasantly surprised. You are always worried if you are getting yourself into something, but I was surprised at their workmanship and timing. They finished essentially within the projected timeline. We were very pleased.

Jeff was extremely responsive and professional. In spite of bad weather, his workers finished the job on time while we were away on a short vacation. Just a great person and experience. Calm, knowledgeable, responsible (doesn't overpromise) explains approach to job and trade-offs completely and in layman's terms.

He did a great job refinishing the doors and replacing our buzzer panel for the price he quoted. Did the work promptly. Very well priced for a tough job. Cleaned up thoroughly upon leaving each day and left when the job was completed with all trash for the project removed.
