Mike came within two hours of my call, as promised. He quickly guided the skunk into a trap and sedated it. The animal was unconscious within minutes, and Mike took him away. Fast, professional, and he made it look easy.

It was not clear at first whether the dead possum was underneath the deck or underneath the 3-season room.  Illinois Wildlife Services had to open up 3 different spots of the skirting to find the dead animal.  Illinois Wildlife Services also deodorized underneath the deck.   I appreciate their quick response and turnaround time.

I called Mike, the owner, because a skunk had found it's way into our basement.  Mike came out within the hour to take care of the issue.  He thoroughly inspected the basement and outside, making sure that there was only 1 skunk, found it's point of entry, and gave me advise on how to prevent animal entry in the future.  Mike was extremely knowledgeable, personable,  and very thorough in his work.  He located the skunk, used a tranquilizer on it, and safely removed it from our premises.  He gave me suggestions on how to remove the odor.  Mike also mentioned that they now do insect prevention as well, so I'll be calling him in the future for that as well.  Thanks Mike for the excellent job!

The technicians were professional, adequate and quick. The did an inspection of the house, determined that there was activity in the attic and also find the entry points. Then they installed devices that allowed the bats to get out, but then they can't get back in. Those were left for about a month or two. Then they come back and remove the devices and seal up all the entry points.

To begin with, it was hard to find a company that would provide this service. My city's public works department would not do the job because the animal died on private property. They gave me the phone numbers of three possible service providers. When I called, 2 were no longer in business and the third gave a quote that I thought was quite high. Many wildlife service companies do not want to deal with large animals and especially large animals that have died.  I used Angie's List to try to find companies that might be able to help. After calling a few wild life companies that could not assist me, I  came across Illinois Wildlife Services Inc..  It turned out to be a great choice. They were professional, courteous, came the same day I called, and their price was 1/2 of what the other provider quoted. Wildlife Services Inc. gave me a time frame as to when they would come to my house and then the representative from Wildlife Services, Inc ( I cannot recall his name) called a little later to give me a more precise time for his arrival. The rep came, examined the deer to try to understand why it had died and if it might have had a disease. He took time out to explained things about the deer as he looked it over. He then devised the easiest way to remove the deer from the property and onto his truck. He also explained the fee that they charged and how it was split between their service and another company that does the final disposal of the deer carcass. I was very happy over all with the job that was done. The rep explained that their main line of business was dealing with the safe removal of living creatures (racoons, possums, skunks, etc.). If I am ever in need of such services, I would definitely give them a call based on the service they provided to me in this instance.

Illinois Wildlife Services Inc. were very helpful and answered all our questions. They were as thorough as they could be, without getting on top of the roof and looking down the chimney and that kind of thing. He did not do that. He did use a ladder in one place, and our house is very tall. There was no evidence that anything had been there. I had looked at it with binoculars. I told him that I thought it was something small, like a possum. He showed up on time, was very personable and had a good sense of humor. He was responsive to our questions. Overall, they were fine.I would not use them again, because they do not actually remove the wildlife. I would have had to call another company anyway for that.

I talked with Mike in June regarding our front stoop. We noticed activity and a hole and wanted immediate removal of what we presumed was a skunk. They came out the same day and set the trap. After 3 days and nothing, it was assumed that we had likely acted prior to the critter moving in. Since we know this activity to be a problem in the neighborhood in general, we accepted the quote to install their permanent mesh barrier to prevent future activity. Since their schedule was full with installations, it would be about 3 weeks. To prevent activity in the meantime, they left the trap and placed wood and other items as a deterrant. We did have a mix up on who was supposed to call whom since we needed to remove a nearby bush prior to the install we connected and Jim came and did a nice job - we are very happy. I have used them previously at my townhome and they were very prompt and caught two skunks living under my deck. Good work, done promptly, very knowledgeable. I definitely recommend their services. Once we remove other bushes along the walkway, I will call them back again to install additional mesh barriers. Thanks guys!

Within a few days the groundhogs were out wandering around the traps, but by this time the fresh apples that Wildlife Services had provided had already been eaten by other animals.  My husband put some fresh fruit out, based on the information Mike from Wildlife Services had provided, and within a short time two groundhogs had been captured in one trap.  I called Wildlife Services and they arrived in about an hour to retrieve the animals.  It was a Saturday evening around 4:00 p.m. so I was very pleased that they came out so quickly. Tim arrived and carefully transferred the groundhogs to other cages for transport. He handled the groundhogs with care, being sure not to scare or injure them. I was pleased with the level of compassion I saw for the animals. Tim then placed plastic in all the holes under the shed so we could determine if there were anymore living under there.
After about a week or longer, Wildlife Services called to see if we had seen any activity and ask how things were going.  We explained that we had not seen any activity, but would like to keep the traps a bit longer as the neighbors thought they had seen more groundhogs.  Wildlife Services was good with that.  A few days later, Wildlife Services called again and indicated they were going to come out and take a look around, add some additional markers around the shed, and add some more liquid bait around the traps.  I explained that we had not been opening the traps when we were at work because we were catching squirrels; Wildlife Services understood our position.
A few days later, Wildlife Services called to see how things were going.  I explained we had not seen any indication of more groundhogs.  Wildlife Services said they would come out and check their markers and check for any activity.  When they arrived, they saw no indication of groundhog activity and we agreed that they could remove the traps.

Hard to judge fully - they never caught anything, and used a bait-less trap that was supposed to be more effective, but failed to produce any results. That may have simply been a coincidence, so it's tough to provide a complete grade. Very professional and responsive, will definitely call again if our "friend" returns.

They were wonderful.  The nest was too high up and we couldn’t get to it.  We liked their availability.  They could get here in a short amount of time which was probably the biggest one.  We had got another quote but he was completely unavailable.  Their price was comparable.

They came out and set traps since I was told by an exterminator that we had flying squirrels in the attic. They inspected areas they thought they might be entering and set up monitors. After all the squirrels were trapped they patched and put on animal proof screens on the roof. They were friendly and helpful and I would recommend them. The guy who came the first time was a little short and not as nice as the others, but overall they were good. Even when I called at night with questions, someone always answered. One of the patched areas on the roof doesn't look at good as the others, but I will watch it and as long as it holds up, it's fine.  It wasn't painted as well and is more noticeable.

After moving into a new home another company doing unrelated work on the house noted there may be bats.
Michael was knowledgable and provided options upon an initial inspection/estimate.
Once the process was allowed (bats are a protected species and can only be extracted at certain times) Michael and his team extracted the bats and made the needed repairs to prevent future problems.

We had a mother and three babies living in a tree on our property.  We called Wildlife Services to remove the animals.  They provided traps that immediately caught the babies.  They left an additional trap to catch the mother as they showed compassion to try and keep the family together.  They took the animals away same day we called each morning as they would normally be caught overnight.
We eventually caught another racooon as well as a possum.  The traps worked so well I asked to have them removed as we seemed to be catching most of the critters on the block!  They didn't charge me for catching the last possum.

After contacting Mike at Illinois Wildlife Services, Inc., a trap was set on the roof to catch the mother raccoon.  Just as was described, the mother was in the trap that evening and removed promptly the next morning.  Even though only 4 babies were seen, five traps were placed in the attic.  Over the course of about 3 days, all 4 babies were caged and removed from the premises.
Mike Glasby was extremely professional, courteous and respectful of my property.  He removed his shoes at the door, spread tarps when needed and was careful not to damage walls or moldings.

The guy that came out was fantastic.  I had someone that paid double and I called them back because I could still hear some noise from my attic.  The guy asked me what I wanted him to do, but this guy stayed with me till the end.  I would use him again in the future.
