Description of Work: Mark Staniulin , the owner inspected a piano I wanted to purchase off craigslist and gave he his honest professional opinion and I valued it. After purchased the piano I hired him again to tune the piano and for his advice on restoring this antique piano.

Description of Work: They paid us for a used baby grand piano; came to the house and picked it up. Very professional, prompt, knowledgeable. We would like to have gotten more for our piano (=D) but we were quite pressed for time (death in family / moving / estate sale), no energy to haggle over price. You get the idea. If we lived in the area, we would do business with them again.

 + -1 moreVery well. Mark is very polite and punctual for his appointments. He answered my initial call right away and was able to work with me schedule to come to my place within a week. He works very neatly and carefully. I would highly recommend this company and Mark's services.

Description of Work: Mark tuned my piano that hadn't been tuned in 20 years. I had two other people look at my piano and say it couldn't be tuned and needed to be rebuilt for thousands of dollars. He tuned it and when I asked him about refinishing he said just play the piano. It isn't worth the work. It was so nice that he was honest since his shop also refinishes pianos.

 + -1 moreMark is always very polite, and works very neatly. He makes appointments with a time range because of the nature of repair work, but always calls and keeps me apprised of how his schedule is going and what time he will arrive so I am not sitting around waiting. Mark does a thorough tuning, checking the sound of fourths and fifths as well as the octaves. The piano is always beautifully playable when he is done. I have had a bad experience before with tuners who leave the pedals too tight, making me crawl under the piano to do my own adjustments. Mark does repair work besides tuning and always gives me a clear estimate of the work and the cost up front. I have recommended him to a number of friends with pianos because I am never disappointed with his work.
Description of Work: Most recent work was tuning a 7' concert grand piano. I am a church music director and use Heavenly Pianos to maintain 7 pianos of various sizes in our buildings as well as mine at home. Mark has done minor repairs of pianos, regulated the action, replaced strings, and installed new lid holder on the grand as well as regular tunings.
