There is some disconnect between sales and the people who actually do the work. The team who does the work got wrong measurements from sales, so they came with a wrong downspout, and they had to come back another time to do the work. However, the sales person, Steve, was very flexible (he came twice to my house) and very helpful in answering my questions. The team who did the work, lead by many, was very professional and very accommodating to my requests. The work was done fast and well. I still have to have the electrician install the switch for the heat tape, but the rest works great so far.

Job was overpriced (took all of 2-3 hours), and the one section that had to be replaced was done incorrectly. I would not recommend these devices be installed on your home. Water (and ice in winter) frequently cascades over the gutter helmets during heavy rains and in areas where a downspout from an upper level is located. Invest in a good ladder instead.

MY ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT I HAVE A SHAKE ROOF, IN ORDER TO HAD PUT IT ON THE SHAKE THEY WANTED TO PUT IT ON THE FASCIA AND THE FASCIA WAS NOT DEEP ENOUGH (IT HAS TO BE 41/2 " DEEP), THEY LAID A LAYER UNDER THE SECOND ROW OF SHAKE AND THEN THEY ATTACHED IT SO THEY WOULD NOT HAVE TO ATTACH IT TO THE SHAKE. THEY CALLED ME BACK SEVERAL TIMES EXPLAINING THE PROCESS. THEY WERE VERY, VERY NICE ABOUT IT.
