Gary did a great job. The piano needed major adjustments but now it sounds great.

Gary checked it out and replaced a plastic elbow in the action. Gary is very knowledgable. Gave me a little history lesson on the use of plastic parts in some pianos made during that time. Those plastic parts have a greater tendency to break so we decided to hold off on the tuning in case more broke off. So far it's working great. Gary was fun to talk to and seems to really know his stuff about keyboards, both acoustic and electronic. He is now my "go to" piano repair person.

Gary provided excellent, thorough service. He explained everything in detail and left the piano in perfectly tuned shape. Spend almost 2 hours making sure it was perfect. Couldn't be happier.

Very well. Mr. Messling arrived right on time for the scheduled appointment. He told me that the job would take 1 - 1/2 hours to complete. The job itself took 1 1/2 hours, which included time to repair a defective part on my piano. The work was done very professionally. I would highly recommend Mr. Messling.

This was our second tuning with Mr. Messing.  The first time we hired him was to tune our upright for the first time in twenty years or more, so it needed a voicing or something.  He did a great job, and the second tuning is excellent also. What a relief.  My only comment is that I was not home and he talked my wife's ear off. When I got home I confirmed that the piano sounded great.

His prices seemed high, but I don't feel as though they were out of the ordinary consdidering the scope of the work. Gary was very thorough in his work, was highly professional and punctual, and did an excellent job. In fact, I plan to call him about some additional work with the piano.

Provide was pleasant and very knowledgeable. also very willing to educate me on technical workings of the instrument. He was punctual an professional. HIs price for tuning the piano was within the range that I expected. Perhaps the cost for replacing the string was on the high side, but acceptable. I will definitely use him again.

Gary Messling was pleasant to speak with on the phone. He answered his own phone and we quickly set an appointment. He arrived on time. His professionalism was evident immediately. He uses some of the latest technology to tune the piano. He was extremely careful about the carpet and furniture. He discussed with me what he would be doing and got to it. I felt I got very good value for my money. He did a basic tuning this time. He also explained various levels of service and frequency of tuning. I was very happy with his work and will definitely call him again.

piano was purchased used and had not been tuned in many years and Gary gave us an honest appraisal of the of its current condition and approximate resale value after a tuning. It really needed much more work but I opted to have it tuned only since I am downsizing my household.
Gary gave us detailed information about the piano, what other work could be done and the care and cleaning of the piece in preparation for my move and its sale.

He has a pleasant personality, is very knowledgable re pianos yet gave me simple explantions/answers to my questions and presented some other options to me.
He definitely is a professional and a credit to his craft.. I highly recommend his services. I would use his services again if needed in the future.

We have a fairly new piano that was re-pitched since it had been about a year and a half since last tuned. It sounds much better now.
