Favia Family Dental

Very well. They determined retainers could be obtained and price, obtained the proper forms and procedure, provided forms to me via email for efficiency, handled the full transaction, and got the retainers for me at a good price, much less than I had been quoted elsewhere. Dentist and staff were very nice and helpful at all stages.

It went way better than I expected. Tooth came out quickly and painlessly. He told me I'd be a little swollen and a bit bruised. Ibupropen worked and I only had to take 36 hrs. No bruising ever appeared. I have a very small mouth and it was a molar. Went back the next week to see how it looked, x-rayed and plan for new tooth put in place. I'm currently waiting for new bone to strengthen and when that happens he will implant a new tooth. What could have been a horrible experience was a very good one. Love Dr. Favia, his techs, and his great receptionists. They keep calling and checking on you and I feel like I'm with friends when I'm there. NO PAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been going to him for 10 to 15 years. The staff is great. The office is pretty clean. They communicate with me. He's a good doctor.

Diane is a wonderful hygienist. She is very professional and at the same time patient and caring. Since I've been going to Favia Family Dental my teeth and gums have improved tremendously. They take the time to help you through the various processes of caring for your teeth and working with you until you develop the habits they recommend. Dr. Favia is always bright and cheerful and is a wealth of knowledge. He is a teacher also so he is good at explaining what need to be done. His office staff is next to none the best in the business. They get to know the patients and make going there a pleasant experience. I have always been skittish about going to the dentist but I've finally found a dental practice that has been able to get me passed my fears.

Dental cleaning was excellent.
The consultation for the repair/fix for chipped front tooth was not explained well. Dr. Favia seemed busy and he did not take the time to carefully guide me into understanding the best situation for my chipped front tooth. Instead of possibly recommending that he carefully file it down, he immediately suggested said that I would have to have the tooth filed down halfway and have a cosmetic procedure done. In addition, my 2nd front tooth would have to match and so the same would have to be done to that for a mere $3500......yikes!
Dr. Favia, I am not accustomed to your dental buzzwords, especially trying to digest them while I am laying down following an hour long cleaning. We, patients, need some extra care in explanations when it comes to our front teeth.

I have got the "green light" to pursue the following steps!

I had 3 implants placed which was a wonderful expierience. Dr. Favia is a teacher as well as a practicing dentist. There were students observing the procedure which was painless and inspiring. I was able to not only hear and observie via a moniter televising each step as it happened, but listened and heard questions and answers to my ongoing work. Science at work!

He is a really good dentist. Dr. Favia keeps up on continuing his education. He offers general denistry and cosmetic, as well. All of his dental equipment is up to date and he has panoramic x-ray machines that give you instant results.The staff will  text and/or email you to remind you of your appointment.

We have used him for several years. He is a fantastic family dentist. Our overall experience with him has been fantastic. Our whole family goes to him. His availability is terrific. As we usually go for check ups they are very prompt.
