I had a big problem with my account for internet service with Comcast Arlington Heights. Every time I go to their office, it's packed with people waiting, who are angry. I needed business class internet for some business trips I was taking. I wanted it for just a month and they said that was fine. When I went back to stop the business class internet, they told me I signed up for a three year period. No one told me this. They told me I should read my paperwork more carefully. I've been doing business with them a long time. Then I wanted to cancel my home service and that didn't go well at all. Months later, I found out I still had the home internet service, which I had canceled, because I was stuck with the three year business class service. So after three years, I canceled my business class account and had some trouble getting my email transferred to the regular internet service. It turns out, I had still also had been under the regular internet service, so I paid to have each service for three years. I asked to speak to a supervisor, who said it wasn't Comcast's fault, because I had made the error. These guys are just jerks. I called again and asked to speak to the boss or the president of the company, but they gave me the run-around. There was nobody to complain to. Every time I tried to complain, they said they could not help me. Basically, after a few weeks, I decided I don't have time for this baloney. They're nasty, nasty people. But their product, the cable, is great. The technical people, if you ever have to talk to them, they're great. If I was the president of the company, I would take the top six layers of supervisors and fire them and start over.
