BUYER BEWARE! We've now had to engage an attorney. Mike Rossier is a crook and never performed services we signed and paid for. We agreed to a $20,000 window project. Mike was very quick to have us sign the contract and pay 50% up front (almost $10k). He cashed our check back in October and its now March 7 and we still have not had the windows installed. He's given excuse after excuse whether its that hes waiting for materials, the Pella factory moved, weather, etc. He hasn't communicated anything with us and we've had to follow up with him for any updates since October. I would stay as far away from this business as possible and whatever you do, do not give him money up front!

some money to hire our own electrician to fix it, but since then we've still had to pay for more electrical repairs. * It felt like there was NO ONE overseeing our project! NO QUALITY CONTROL AT ALL!! Just us finding these issues & then ChicagoLand arguing with us to address these things. It was an extremely upsetting experience for us. And then ChicagoLand treated us like WE were crazy or hard to deal with! Seriously?!?! I could go on and on - but I just can't devote anymore of my time to this...

In November, I want him to do the job but his unresponsive and didn’t return my call. Gave down payment on November and never return my money and didn’t do the job. Didn’t get back the deposit at all. I hired an attorney but the company never shown up in court. I called him and he said don’t want to do to my roof. He said he will gave my money back within two weeks, Then I called him again then he said in a month F for price because he didn’t do any work and stole my money. He didn’t start the job and did not return the deposit.

It went very well. The crew worked really hard. The price was great (I had 3 estimates). They cleaned up well after themselves. They also covered some old flashing around the windows which refreshed the whole look of the house.

The employees came out and did a superior job. There was no issues and I am very happy with the finished work. They are a James Hardie preferred contractor so I wasn't worried about the quality of the work. The job was completed perfectly. The only negative was I had to wait two months as they are in demand but well worth the wait.

The worked was performed on time and on budget. There are only 2 elite preferred providers of James Hardie Siding in the Chicago area. Chicagoland Builders performed the work for a fraction of the price that the other elite preferred provider proposed, and the work was done beautifully. I would definitely use Chicagoland Builders again.

The end result was a terrific James Hardie siding addition that is the envy of my neighbors. The addition looks like a new addition and I could not be happier with the final result. The storm doors that were installed were beautiful and excellent quality. Mike and his crew were great to work with. They kept in communication about everything. Customer satisfaction is very important to Chicagoland Builders. After the project was done, there was a followup visit to take care of any little details that needed to be addressed. Based on the quality of the work and the price that we paid I would highly recommend Chicagoland Builders.

Order was placed and installed on time without a hitch!

Met originally with company's owner and job superintendent. They inspected my home and made suggestions to improve my work plan. I wanted quality materials and workmanship. We negotiated a price that was within my budget. Price was reasonable. Work schedule promised was met. Work site well managed. All debris was cleaned up each night. The finished project exceeded my expectations. A few weeks after the original work was completed I had them return to complete another project siding and roofing my garage that was done well. Heartily recommend them for work.

This is an ongoing project. They really didn't finish the job. There are definitely multiple issues with them and I am not very happy. 

The best part is they do a lot to encourage you to sign a contract and they seem up front and yeah we will work with you. Then either they don't show up for long periods of time or the work is shoddy. 

You never knew when they were coming, no communication, they would just show up. It took 9 failed inspections with the county.

They are not still working on it, they walked away from the project. They earned this F.

This project completed with good materials and workmanship. When an adjustment to the sidewalk was needed, the contractor pieced in the needed sections to pass inspection. Overall, the job took longer than expected.

Needed a new roof and gutters on the garage at a good price, Mike came out twice and spent all the time necessary to educate us on roofing systems and to explain what they would doHe was upfront about an issue with Angie's List in regards to an advertising contract that appears on the site. But the reviews on their work were superior and our main concern. And we had seen the work that they do on the house across the street which was excellent. ; They came out in force (at least 8 guys) including a project manager that stayed on top of the job. They don't play,..they are punctual, they get started, do the job, leave a clean worksite each day and finish up. Any issues are dealt with immediately, which is most important. They did an excellent job and the roof looks beautiful.; The roof was installed in two and a half days. They discovered that I need the sewers cleared to the street and I've already contacted an Angie's List company for an estimate.; I would definately recommend them and hire them again for other projects.

The experience was good throughout.  They were very professional.  They made good on all commitments.

The salesman at Chicagoland Builders Inc Company was really nice. The workers who came out did excellent quality work. They worked hard. They cleaned up after themselves. We ended up having a design problem though. There was some miscommunication between our designers and the workers from Chicagoland Builders Inc Company. So, together, they ended up making the weirdest design decision. I?m not sure which one of them made the decision. Anyway, it didn?t matter so much because Chicagoland Builders Inc Company was great about coming back really quickly and fixing the problem. So they were extremely responsive. Their pricing was great. They were very professional. I would highly recommend them. In fact, I'm planning to have them out for another job very soon.

shopped for value and received 6 estimates Mike was on time and listened to every thing i told him. I would highly recommend them for any home remodeling job.I received the best prices on quality products.I instantly noticed my a/c cycling less WOW! The crew couldn't have been any cleaner they were efficient and fast.Thanks guys my house looks awesome you can use me as a reference any time

After a rather serious storm, I started receiving flyers in the mail from several home improvement companies stating that my house could qualify for hail damage repair. Storm and hail damage???: At first I thought it was a scam and decided to do some research. I found out that storm and hail damage was not a scam. I had a legitimate insurance claim on my home. I picked up the phone and called several of the phone numbers on those flyers. I had a few companies come in and give me estimates. During the contractor selection process, I started researching some of the companies on these flyers. To my surprise, several of the contractors ended up being, as I call them, ?Out-of-town storm chasers?. As I dug deeper, I read where people attempted to call the ?storm chasing? companies for repairs and such, only to realize that the company was no longer in the area. I decided to stay local. A friend of mine referred me to ?Chicagoland Builders?. He and his wife used them for a small addition on their home and had nothing but good things to say about them. I called and scheduled an appointment. They arrived on-time and where very professional about their business. They where friendly, answered all of my questions and guided me through the insurance claim process. They have a huge selection of products to choose from and they listened to what expectations I had on this project. My home looks and feels almost brand-new because of all the work Chicagoland Builders performed. Outside, I had the roof replaced and new siding and windows installed. The exterior of my home was completely transformed. Inside, they came in and repaired the kitchen and bedroom ceilings that had water damage. They made every attempt to be sure we were inconvenienced as little as possible and thoroughly cleaned up each day. I am so glad that I was able to find one company that I could count on.
