BW Flooring

We obtained several estimates but all of the others had stipulations on what we needed to do ourselves. Bob said he would handle everything and he did. He moved furniture and put it back after, removed shoe and replaced including painting, effectively sealed off cabinets, removed and reinstalled toilet and pedestal sink, removed and reinstalled doors as needed and removed and reinstalled electrical heating. He was always punctual and always very responsive to our requests.

This is the second time we've used BW. A few years back, they installed hardwood flooring in our great room that was previously carpeted. The experience was good. This time,everything went even better and we were very happy with the result. The new kitchen floor perfectly matched the two year old great room job and the overall workmanship was good. We would use BW again.

B.W. Flooring had performed a large job for a family member and thus came to us recommended. Our job was not perfect, but most people who see the work are complimentary and we are happy with the overall result. They offered the best price among the three quotes we received. If there was any tradeoff in quality it was probably worth the savings realized, For starters, this was not an easy job because it was not possible to match the originally laid wood flooring in the foyer and kitchen. We did not want to redo those areas for budget purposes - so we tried to come as close as possible to the shade (same 3/4 inch oak type). Bob dropped off several samples that we could review under different lighting conditions. He is a nice man and knows his business. When the last day rolled around and he left the job in the hands of two other installers, a few minor quality issues arose that we had wished were brought to our attention (for a decision) before finishing the job. Overall, we saved some money and the end result looked good.
