Excellent! Valentine review the issues, provided a quote and once approved, repaired all issues to our complete satisfaction. We also liked that he gave a complete explanation of the work he was doing and instruction for care after his repair work. We're now also getting a quote from them for reupholstering our dining room chairs. Good people.

We have a beautiful cherry wood bar that we wanted in our basement but the stairs are hard to move large items down. After professional movers failed to get it down there we hired Brothers Furniture to take the bar apart & move it and then reassembled. We were nervous because some of the wood was glued together but they had no problem disassembling it and the finished result looks great! So happy we called.

They were very good and accomodating

We do not have a truck or SUV, so in home service was important. We had a party coming up, so we needed quick service.
I left a few phone messages and did not get a call back. I then sent an email and got a response in less than an hour. All subsequent communications, via email, call, and text were prompt and professional. It was clear that they were squeezing us in to their schedule to meet our needs. When he got to the site he completed the work quickly and educated us on how to avoid the situation recurring.
I plan to use them on some future projects and would absolutely recommend them. I would suggest contacting them via email.

First, working with Val from an appointment scheduling standpoint was easy. She is prompt on responses and was able to provide very near-term windows to perform the job.
Second, I was a bit skeptical on how they were going to take apart a couch and headboard in a way that reassembling on the other side would maintain the structural integrity and aesthetic appeal of the furniture in its original state. They delivered on both items! For the couch they removed the fabric and literally split the couch in half. And by the way they reassemble the piece together, it's like breaking your arm - they actually rebuild it stronger than it was originally. And they made disassembling the headboard amazingly simple (though still knowing I couldn't do it myself without breaking it). It looks just like new.
Then, for reassembly, they went out of their way to ensure the original look of the pieces, particularly with the headboard. Not only did they reassemble my headboard, the put together the entire bed frame and set up my bedroom, something I neither asked nor expected them to do. Then they brought color matching furniture repair pens in and fixed any ding, scratch or marking that was preexisting on the piece, even what my movers did trying to get the piece upstairs in the first place! Definitely above and beyond service.
Finally, the price was extremely reasonable. $550 for these two pieces at the risk of having to buy new furniture is a steal! They even knocked down the original quoted price some because the job took less time than originally anticipated.
They were speedy, effective, extremely courteous, careful, clean, and provide a solid 6 month warranty on anything they touched.
Would definitely use Brothers Furniture again.

I had a positive experience with them recently repairing the same couch. Prompt and efficient. Time will tell if the repairs hold up.
Though I do believe that the repairs were necessary due to the prior take down of the couch that has occurred twice. I have had the couch for six years and don't have kids, so the only plausible explanation for the needed repairs is the prior take downs.
They can be very hard to reach over the phone. Keep trying.

The experience was excellent! Brothers Furniture was able to give me a same week appointment and a service window. On the day of service, Fernando and his partner called to tell me when they would arrive. They arrived exactly when they said they would and completed the job in a very professional, efficient manner. Although I was worried that the job wouldn't go smoothly, Fernando completely reassured me and told me that they perform the service all of the time. They took out the fabric staples and disassembled the couch as needed. They were very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. They were confident in their skills and experience. We have been thoroughly enjoying that couch in its intended position and it feels as sturdy as they day I brought it home.

The employee came to their appointment at around 10:30am (I was given a 9a-12p window). The worker was courteous and straightforward. For the 2 Room and Board pieces, he fixed these and explained to me why they needed help and what he did. It was fixed (in like 10 minutes, but me being inept at fixing anything, is not the issue)
The third thing I asked him was what I was a bit not happy with. I had a cracked chair. He said it would need to be taken into the shop with a nail put in and glued back together. This was fine. He said it would be $55 and he could take it back today. But for delivery, he would need to charge $35. Hmmm, $55 to repair and $35 to get it delivered back? He kept on telling me about the high gas prices. I said, I'd be happy to pay him $8 for gas, but he then said that this was the price for the last 20 years. Anyway, I'm not driving to Arlington Heights to get the chair, and I won't pay 40% of the price on delivery of a chair, so I'll just have to figure some other way...
Overall, it was a good experience.

The work was very good from my vantage point. I will use this company in the future.

Brothers Furniture offers an extremely unique service. Our old house has an original basement staircase - only 24'' wide and turning three times. In order to fit a couch downstairs, Brother's Furniture literally sawed apart a new sofa (purchased from Roy's Furniture) into seven different pieces, carried these pieces down the steps and reassembled it to its new condition again. It was like magic. They offer this service for new furniture or items already owned. I believe they also do repair, refinishing and reupholstering. The staff was courteous and responsive.
