I am so glad I found Atomatic. They have been so responsive, kind and empathetic, as well as knowledgeable and helpful with our myriad issues with our heat pump in our condo. The owner even called me at one point to assure me that they were going to do everything to find a solution and get our heat working again. It seems simple, but at the time it was music to my ears - someone cared! Atomatic earned our trust over a period of several weeks as we tried to identify the problem. Atomatic found and fixed the problem, and charged us less than they should have. They are no-nonsense, customer-focused, and solution-focused. We've since hired them for work at our rental property and we will likely hire them to ultimately replace the faulty heat pump in our own unit. I highly recommend this company.

Everything went very smoothly from beginning to end. The sales pro was knowledgeable and helped us go over the options. He kept it low pressure and was really interested in what was best for our needs. The installer and assistant were professional, courteous, and taught us what we should know about our new installation. We are very satisfied with the whole process and with this company.

From the very first meeting with Chris from Atomatic, we knew that we had finally found the right company to replace and upgrade our entire HVAC system.  We have a multi-level townhouse, and have always had problems keeping all levels comfortable at the same time.  We met with numerous HVAC companies over the last year.  After analyzing all the solutions from the different companies, we decided to select Atomotic, and Chris was the primary reason.  His level of knowledge, expertise and professionalism totally blew away the competition.  He took a lot of time thoroughly explaining the reasoning behind his recommendations, and when I had follow-up questions, he promptly returned calls.  The end result was a fantastic system that finally was able to satisfy all of our requirements and keep each level comfortable. 
On the day of installtion, the installers arrived on time.  They proved themselves to be very experienced and thorough.  They kept us informed each step of the way, and were happy to answer any questions throughout the installation process.

I obtained 4 estimates before deciding on Atomatic. From the initial contact with Chris through the installation, Atomatic was very thorough and Chris communicated well throughout the process. Chris spent over 90 minutes at our home assessing our heating and cooling needs, far exceeding the amount of time spent by the other firms. He was the only salesman who did a flow estimate and CORRECTLY identified that we would only need a 2-ton AC unit and explained that it would do a better job of controlling humidity in our home. All the other salesmen suggested a 2and 1/2 ton unit. I had originally selected another firm other than Atomatic for the job and as a courtesy contacted the other competing firms. Chris asked what kind of equipment I selected and I told him we were looking at a different manufacturer and the contractor recommended a 2and 1/2 ton unit. Chris felt strongly that this was oversized and asked if he could e-mail me his flow analysis and whether I would share it with the competing contractor. He said, and quot;I know you have decided to go with another firm and I can accept that but I really think that a 2and 1/2 ton unit is too big for your home. Please just have him check my numbers.and quot; I e-mailed the Atomatic analysis to the other contractor. He called me a half hour later and said, and quot;You know, the numbers don't lie. A 2-ton unit would be more appropriate.and quot; At that point, I wondered what else the other contractor had missed and canceled the job. Chris at Atomatic could have easily let us go at the point that I told him that we had chosen another firm. He had concerns about the equipment and wanted to be sure that we were fitted with the right size AC. He was persistent and went above and beyond to make sure we didn't make a mistake. The installation went great. The two workmen arrived just after 7:00AM and finished up just before 5:00PM. They did a great job, removed all of the old equipment and debris and gave us a brief tutorial on operating the thermostat and system. I have had simple questions since the installation and Chris has always promptly returned our calls and done a great job of educating us. We have had humid weather for the last 3 weeks and the system does such a great job of removing humidity that we can set our thermostat at a higher temperature than our old system. I see Carrier heating and AC equipment at a lot of commercial businesses and feel confident in the product. Atomatic doesn't have the name recognition of a lot of the firms that advertise in the Chicago area but they are very thorough and professional. After doing a lot of research and soliciting 4 estimates, I'm happy I chose Atomatic.

Normally one technician comes out and he is here for about 30-40 minutes. They coordinate their time well by working with my schedule to make sure I am home when they do the checkup. They do a nice job every time with my HVAC and the billing process is easy.

They did a really good job. I thought the pricing was fair but would have paid a premium for the level of service they provided. The check was thorough and they are coming again to install the furnace. I highly recommend them.

They always came and took care of everything, cleaned everything. Got things going when I needed them going. Got me a new furnace when there was something wrong and luckily we didn't all get carbon monoxide poisoning or something like that. And they are going to come out and look at my new house.

I have used Atomatic for several years for twice a year cleaning of air conditioner (summer) and heater (fall). I recommend purchasing the annual contract (significantly less money to purchase it all up front than paying for each service call). They will call and send reminders for the second service call so that you don't have to remember. Always helpful and friendly and the service technician always completely explains everything he's doing and explains any issues or recommendations.

We have used them for 15 or 20 years. The last guy that came out was a Christian and it showed in his work, he went above and beyond. He made sure it was all taken care of and was able to answer out questions. He also checked our humidifier for us, which he did not have to do. The price might be a tad higher, but they are worth it.

I think some important characteristics of the all the Atomatic people we have interacted with includes their courtesy, competence and their pride in working together and in being a part of Atomatic. Very impressive.

Atomatic did a great job in diagnosing what the problems were with my furnaces and air conditioners. Once we determined that only one (not two) air conditioners were malfunctioning, I got a great price in completing the work. I've also signed on with them to do maintenance because I felt they were more honest and were going to help me get the full value out of the equipment in my home, rather than just rush to replace units.

Automatic Mechanical Services, Inc. did exactly what they promised to do. They arrived very promptly on time and the serviceman was very professional and courteous. I thought it was very businesslike for them to send out an estimator first. This told me exactly what to expect. I thought their price was a little high.

They inspected and tuned up our air conditioner as part of a routine service call. They were clean and professional, and were able to help make the AC perform more efficiently.

WE HAD A SERVICE CONTRACT WITH ATOMATIC FOR REGULAR MAINTENANCE OF OUR HEATING AND AC IN A TOWNHOME. THEY CAME OUT TWICE A YEAR TO INSPECT THE SYSTEM--ONCE FOR THE FURNACE, THE OTHER TIME FOR THE AC. THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN TIMELY, COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL.
